How in the world could he play? STs? I cannot believe he is ready to play defense. The terminology alone probably makes that difficult so soon. But how many snaps has he had in camp? A handful?

With all these injunctions if they come back at a later date as ineligible the school will have to forfeit games. It doesn't seem worth the hassle to me in any of the sports.

Can’t see playing him against anybody if you have the risk of forfeit looming over you. Especially not against a guaranteed win.

I believe the TRO protects against that. They are eligible until/unless a court overturns the TRO. No penalties for playing while they were ruled eligible.
