2 sophomores I'm hoping POP this year are Mills (WR) and Merritt (LB). Massive potential to jump - although both are 2's.

RVP not starting? With his performance last year - doesn't surprise me. But the talk around him? Surprises me he's running with the 2's. Was hoping for a breakthrough - we'll see.

I'm a little disappointed Tree isn't starting on the OL. Gottula is better than him? Sigh... Trust Geep yes... but want some better talent there.

Maybe most excited about our LB's!
Tree was underwhelming in the little bit of video I saw of him. Gottula when healthy is a good player. Most of us have a flawed opinion of him based on him trying to play with injuries. An injured Gottula was better than his healthy backups.

RVP is going to play a bunch no matter where he’s at on the depth chart. Those transfers Aurich brought in are getting some preference.

Going to get the ball shoved right down our throats all game long with that depth chart 😳 Weak right up middle. It’s like we’ve constructed a defense for the old pass happy Big 12. 4-8 is a real possibility unfortunately.

We had a weak dline last year and still won 7 games. You can never underestimate the stupidity of opposing coaches...a lot of teams had 6 or 7 ypc and continued to throw the ball. The teams who were willing to just run it and accept that the qb would have a slow day just killed us...Penn State, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan just ran it down our throats. Those teams were all pretty average and are replaced with really good teams this year...we'll get blown out more but we have six really winnable games regardless of our roster. Michigan State, Maryland, Rutgers are equally suck.

I think Tree has battled some minor injuries - also Geep said Gunner has made big leaps. So likely a combo of both.
