QB Battle: Jeremy Hecklinski appears to have passed Hank Brown on the Depth Chart. QB was NOT a Transfer Portal Priority per KF on Dec 18

Kirk's gotten away with ****** QB play for so long with a great defense and special teams. Well now it seems the defense and special teams are a huge question marks and maybe not able to put out fire after fire. Hoping for the best, but it's not encouraging to say the least about the QB.
The defense is hardly a huge question mark. It will likely once again be a top 25 unit and the strength of this team as long as Phil is around.

Me thinks they had a year and a half of watching these guys compete and reports are often “neither guy separating himself” or “it’s neck and neck” are definitely reading more like, “we’re terrified to roll with either of these two guys”. I sure hope I’m wrong.

me too.

and remember, on Dec 18, Kirk said that QB was not a transfer portal priority.

I doubt you'll see designed QB runs. Hecks not a very big guy. Lester kind of eluded to that already. If he runs, it will be in scramble situations and he'll be told to get down.
I think we'll see a couple runs, but they likely will be on the edges and not up the gut. More like what we saw from Sully, rather than Grono.

That said, the Hawks used to run the occasional QB draw up the middle 1999-2016. Even maligned QBs like McCann and Rudock had some success with it. They quit running it with the slower guys that followed. It wouldn't surprise me to see Tim use it once a game.

Remember when Phil said this about how his defense was struggling?

In front of an audience, Hank was wild & inaccurate.

--vs Indiana

--at the Kid's Day scrimmage
A handful of plays a year ago, and I'm sorry but the kids day scrimmage is absolutely NOT a game. Look, I'm not fronted for Hank over Heck. NEVER said any of that. We have an OC who says he hasn't made a decision yet because its too close to call , and YET we have countless posters who are sure who should be starting, because SOME how they know who's better while the OC (who has a hell of a resume) and who has worked with them 100 days since bowl prep last season and has charted EVERY single snap, disagree's with that assessment. Please explain....

Where did you hear this about Brown?

Dochterman said this regarding his Kid's Day performance. Hank's throws were all over the place. He was throwing high, low, and where no one was.

And remember Hank's accuracy vs Indiana?

How can a guy this far into his college career still struggle with that? Has he gone completely uncoached or is he just not good?

i am guessing he might have the yips in real game action, when people are trying to put him on his back

I didn't see kids day myself. I just saw the stats and heard he sucked.

I don't want to remember what happened in the Indiana game and don't remind me of that again. Damn it.

My final word before Saturday: I just want to win. I don't care who is out there. It could be a chimpanzee in pads and a helmet that flings **** at the crowd between plays for all I care. I want to see the team succeed, and anyone who knows how the game of Football functions on a fundamental level know that you need a good QB to succeed against the best. I want to beat those a-holes from Ames, I want to beat those losers from Lincoln.

As long as the team succeeds, that's all that matters to me. Bring on Saturday.

it still is disturbing to hear that Hank still struggles with his foot work and getting set before he throws the ball

Where did you hear this about Brown?

He didn't, at least not recently.

Wow, KC, you have 2 lies in one short post. Impressive!

#1, yes, I did hear this about Hank Brown (the video follows).

#2, are 5 days ago (Aug 27) recent enough for you?

Check this out & watch for yourself, KC; I am sure you will reply with an apology....

So we're going to start this crap again. Do you spend 22 hours a day on here calling out everyone who disagree;s with anything you post. You my friend need a hobby, that does not involve the internet. Tell you what , I apologize because I hadn't seen Scotts video before. I do hope that soothes your ego, and your need to be right all the time. I'd actually love to see you and legend12 in a bar together and watch the absolute freaking meltdown between two guys who simply MUST be right or have their panties so far up their backsides they'd disappear. I do sincerely hope that comes across as an apology....

The irony.

Speaking of "starting crap," you said that I was lying when, in fact, you lied twice in one short post. Everyone can see that when they scroll up 2 posts above this one.

You, "my friend," actually are the one who needs a hobby that accepts your lies and nonsense and does not involve the internet. Start with an imaginary friend.

If you continue to post on here, try not to lie moving forward because if you do, you will get called out on it. And, like I said, I am sure you will reply with an apology for pulling "this crap."

In Lester (and the new QBs coach) we trust. :)

Lolol..And just as I said you and the other dude who feel they must monitor every post on here are two of the biggest narcissists to very grace these forums. Here's a hint. pretty much NO one on here cares about your inherent need to control the speech of the other posters. Take a poll if you must and see just how many people on here think that's a lie. Theres a post I'd actually be interested in reading. You'd be the most "ignored" poster on here, probably more then "eyes" if it wasn't for the other information that you add, which is great until you have to do multiple posts or bump your own threads just to keep them at the top, Again the very definition of a narcissist. Do be you though, its kind of entertaining, most of the time.

Get a grip. You lied about me twice in one post and I pointed that out and asked for an apology. And this is your reaction? You're pathetic.

Are you man enough to apologize? Clearly you are not.

Quit being such a narcissist because we all know you would reply to someone who lied about you.

Again, what follows is the sequence where you LIED TWICE in your post, ironically claiming that I lied. You being so outraged that I pointed this out is what is so damn funny.

Actually, I find it interesting that @Kceasthawk@77 lied about me twice in one post and think I would just let it slide and not respond and correct him. And when I did, he clearly lost it. Imagine what he must be like in real life. I hope he takes his meds today.

And you once again did EXACTLY what everyone here knew you'd do. Come back with a half a page assault, with the same crap you've already posted several times. You must go through a keyboard every other week. Meds, therapy, someone PLEASE help this guy.

LOL....the irony. You are replying exactly how we knew you would. Why can't you simply apologize for lying?

Instead, we get this drivel. You have really lost it.

As I said in my prior post, be sure to take your meds today.

Good luck, child.

And now back to the QB discussion. Hopefully you will post something useful and not littered with untruths moving forward. Not holding my breath, though.

I'm not sure if @EvilMonkeyInTheCloset has eligibility or if they are a chimpanzee. Does it have to be a chimpanzee or will any monkey suffice?
