I’d say I have no idea. Less than 50 minutes played in the G League really doesn’t equate to G League experience.

Thinking he would be our starting PF is scary, I’ve seen nothing that would indicate that.

Petrovic seems to have some talent but not much experience either.

I think he would have gotten major minutes, especially with Nwuli bailing on us. From what I could tell he's a better player than Nwuli is and would have gotten either starting or major backup minutes at the 4. A big loss in my book although we will never know.

What here tells you he’s any good, I just don’t see it?

Starting by default because of the injury to Williams? Or starting over Williams?

Injury to Williams? We were told it was a super proactive boot for 2 weeks and nothing to worry about.

Exactly. 100% agree. Not a loss.

Early on when I spoke to someone watching multiple practices I was told Williams would be the starting 4. But later I found out that was probably because Mariano was not on campus yet.

Remember, this was just an opinion from a person watching multiple practices and not someone on the staff.

Wasn't judging from stats, was judging from a combination of watching his tape + the fact that you don't sniff the G-League without having at least some talent and ability. The Big East is a huge step down from the G League, so naturally I figure he'd at least be competitive.
