Classic. The one video I keep searching for but can never find is Clark beating Nato in the 133 semis the prior year. After losing to him in the BIGs.

I always look for that after a few beers and watching old matches but it must not exist so I then end up watching the Gross finals match. A ten second ride!

The Gross match is a great one. Amazing fight from CC with one arm.

My larger point is pretending like all of a sudden we should be supportive of losing top 20 recruits bc of "character concerns", when we're bringing back a guy who's on his 3rd school (only bc he couldnt find a 4th in the off season) and spent 4 seasons underachieving... well that's just stupid.
*Edited to add - surely everyone remembers the same stuff being spread on Sammy Sasso after we missed on him.
If Amato simply hasn't performed and improved as well as the staff had hoped then fine, pull the offer. But to make it about character concerns when the staff doesn't have a stellar track record of consistency in that area is again, stupid.

Sadulaev would be great and all but ive herd his big board rankings are all over the place almost like hes never watched a high school match 😆 might not be the trade off it seems

Okay, but it is Willie, so maybe Russia will give up something better just to get rid of him. Suggestions? I
know that I'm against taking him back unless they offer something really good. ;)

So the girls are having a big recruiting trip, would the boys have a big recruiting trip? I know we can’t recruit the 2028 class; but would we bring our 2027commits ? Or have any kids who secretly re-open their commuting process?

I just don't see Willie adding up to a whole prisoner in an exchange. A left arm in return? A right foot? They talk about the juice being worth the squeeze, but when you squeeze Willie, out comes 150 pounds of beer. The Russians drink vodka. No Bueno.

Russians drink a lot of beer. More beer then Vodka. Willie (Liberto's little B) Smalls will be OK it they can Squeeze that much.

No, the point is that we won't take him back unless the Ruskies give us something good.
A couple of bottles of Stoly or a few cases of beer won't be nearly enough for us to agree to take him back. However if throw in Saduaev, (and maybe stop bombing Ukraine), we might consider it. The longer Willie sits is Russia, the more motivated the Kremlin will be to ship him back.
