Yep 8 main and 5 pre. It's a two-hour pre-show so it's more matches than the pre-show normally has.
Would be even better with an over the top rope battle royal.

As average as the last AEW PPV was, I thought this one was pretty exceptional overall.
Those entrances for Omega and especially Ospreay two of the best I've ever seen followed by what I consider to be the leading contender for Match of the Year.
How did Mark Stoops get basically nothing out of an athlete like Borden? And he's 11 years past his time at UK and still looking really athletic. Imagine what he was like when he was training for football on a daily basis with SEC athletes?

It's a damn shame what happened with Nigel's career after he got that hepatitis diagnosis in 2010. Guy is so good and his wrestling IQ is thru the roof. The tap out after being just barely short of reaching the rope reminded me of when the Titans got tackled just barely short of the end zone in 2000.

Yeah, he's not done anything worthwhile in AEW yet except his little run in with MJF. Not sure if he will end up being worth whatever he is getting paid.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen someone thigh slap for a chop, and if they do they hide it so well I don’t notice it. He’s just making it blatant.
Like watch Takeshita when he does his knee strikes, guy has mastered the art of a thigh slap.
A chop is one move you don’t “need” to thigh slap for if you have any clue how to do one correctly. If you can’t execute a good looking and sounding chop without a thigh slap you’re either lazy, stupid, poorly trained, and/or can’t wrestle.

Not going to lie, it was funny watching him take a sip of Thekla’s drink on the preshow.
Other than the stuff with Darby/MJF, that’s about all I can say I’ve liked about him in AEW.
AEW needs to go back to having RJ City on the preshow.
I know the new champ La Parka might get mad at me, but being honest, I can’t think I’ve ever seen Mercedes put on a bad match from what I have seen in WWE or AEW. I didn’t see her in NXT so I can’t speak on that, but every match she puts on pulls the literal best out of her opponent. Maya World and Willow recently, Stephanie Vacquer a few years ago and the WWE girlies from back in the day. I think she’s the best woman wrestler in the world.
I’ve seen great clips from the lady from NXT (Kendal Grey) that dragon posted today, but I’ve never seen her in a match before. She might be as good as Mercedes but I can’t speak as I don’t know. I’m going to try to find a few of her matches though.

The Britt match was bad, but that wasn't Mercedes fault.
Dave loves Kendal though. That's going to be his female Ospreay as far as star ratings go.

Those clips you posted earlier are pretty doggone good, though. She might be the real deal.
Dave thinks she’s the best American wrestler and one of the best in the world and that’s high praise considering Dave watches a ton of Japan women’s wrestling
You can be really good at what you do and be a complete pain in the butt to deal with. The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.
Funny how Britt mentioned thunder Rosa isn’t that the feud she got in trouble about her last go around
