Rocco absolutely can run like Beau. Rocco was ranked higher than Beau in every portal QB ranking. Rocco can also throw, damn well. It boggles my mind all this Rocco doubt on here. He is as good as ANYBODY in the Big Ten

They’re basically the Southeastern version of Pitt: just a mediocre program even at its best. Even Pitt somehow gets into the ACC Championship Game once in awhile, and I can’t ever remember NC State doing that.

Do they have these "week 0" games because they play the one game in Ireland? Really a useless slate of games with no excitement. Can they just start officially next Thursday? Move that Ireland game to then. That way the teams that play in it get extra time to prepare for their next game. The UNC vs TCU game reminded me of a meaningless bowl game vs two 8-4 or 7-5 teams.

Edit: I forgot about the time change so playing that Ireland game on Thursday won't work. Not sure what the answer is but it seems what they are doing now is not the answer (airing about 5 games that are all unappealing).

There also should be a limit for the number of times that you can transfer. The system is absurd as it is, and then you have players like Mack who now is playing for his fourth different team in as many seasons, which makes the system even more absurd.

I agree with you but apparently the courts and whomever else that has power does not agree with any regulations that could confine or limit the players. I guess the 5 year thing is good and better than guys playing 7 years. But back to limiting the # of transfers. Nope, that would have been done already and places a limit on players. Same thing with average WRs now getting a quarter of a million a year in NIL to play for a 4 loss team. Same thing with letting cut NFL guys go back to college. The whole system has pivoted to benefit the players and give them all the leverage and power. I wouldn't be surprised to see some ridiculous rule where if a guy gets cut from an NFL team but doesn't want to go play college then he can activate some clause in his college NIL deal where he gets paid that NIL money for 5 years after he is finished with cfb.

I think/hoep when they get pay for play they'll sign multi-year deals but that also means teams can't run them off
I could be wrong but I doubt anyone was too upset when Mack left

All that you have to know about him is that he left a Big 10 school twice and a SEC school, both of which are in the top seven in all times wins, and now is baying for a mediocre at best ACC school.

Wow - I just timed my Hotwire Fision cable vs. Hard Rock. I saw the Stanford score change to 13-7 and counted to 40 before I watched the actual play on tv. I knew there was a lag, but not that big of one.

This is why I have to turn off my phone during PSU games. Text message notices tell me that something happened before I get to see it unfold.

Having to suffer through these crap games this weekend makes me think that maybe CFB should simply split into the haves and have nots.

Take the top 32 teams and that becomes the league. Divide it by geography like the NFL and have at it doing it exactly how the NFL does it.

The rest of the teams can play on Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday but be on secondary media outlets.

It is perfect for promotion/relegation. Just need to have some longer term agreements with the players.
