So you ***** about the bitches? What else should we talk about? The team? You guys forget big money sports are entertainment enterprises first and foremost, otherwise they will fail to exist. These are not supposed to be charities, or a place for us to celebrate the disabled and unfortunate. College football is an outlet for extreme competition. UNL is an alma mater, home school, Lincoln is a home city for many fans...the team is embarrassing...I would love to be wrong, as I have said for the last four years...I just have been continually right, except for weak moments of optimism.our fanbase sure is infected with crybaby bitches
I think the worst about Rhule...beyond his scamming and incompetence, is that even at his best, his strategy for winning at Temple and Baylor would not work in the game today. It really isn't his fault...he had a very clear pattern and strategy at his two "successful" stops. Crash-out the roster, rely heavily on young players, build experience, cohesiveness with a staff of coaches that he trusted, and then turn it around as the freshman turned into upper classman. He never had a chance here because any young player who built up a resume would be a danger of transferring, and he had no desire or experience in bringing in veteran players and building culture overnight, especially with full grown men who are likely to see through ********. Keeping "loyal" coaches was also a risk because he didn't have a full roster of buddies, he had to rely on kids of buddies, had to bring in some "outsiders" like Tony who stood up to him...and our three best coaches have long since left.True. I've mentioned this before in other posts, but he's not a winner. His record clearly shows this, especially his record vs ranked teams. I'm not sure you'll find many power 5 coaches with a worse record that Matt's 2-25 (.074) career record vs ranked teams. Seriously, from what I can find, Maryland's HC is the only one who has a worse record (2-30). That's it. Of all the power 5 schools, we have the 2nd worst one (though really, is it that much of a difference?).
That's both sobering and frustrating. Maybe it's a good thing that Trev moved on, if this is the best he could do.

So lets talk football. Why do you think we will beat Illinois or Washington to make this a worthwhile season? Illinois isn't bringing back much but Bielema will run the ball down our throats and it is a road game. Washington was dramatically better than us last year...won 9 games and they return a ton of talent and have a better coach. It is a home game so I wouldn't call it a toss up but we have maybe a 40% chance to win. That means we have to be perfect to beat the bad teams...Ohio, Michigan State, Rutgers, Maryland...and we have to pretty much have an upset to get to 7 wins. If we have any slip ups...especially that Michigan State road game, or Rutgers late in the season...this is going to be a five win season. Thoughts?maybe this sport isn't for you
What does your wife's boyfriend have to do with this?I’d apologize too if I were a bad teacher and mediocre with intended words. It’s okay, you’ll improve.
We are soft as f*ck in his image
“…last year we failed as a staff, the wrong voice, the wrong things were being said. And that falls on me and we didn’t have that grit and toughness at the end of the year and when things got out of hand, it’s like you’re kinda looking around for help. That is 100% on me. And so me, all I’ve said to this team is…
I want G-B-R
I want Grit, I want Brotherhood, I want Relentless execution. I want a guys who are gritty and tough. Everyone says they love the team and Nebraska, but all I’ve seen is when things get hard, people just back off. Who leans into it like Luke Reimer did, like MJ Sherman did, like Ty…”

5 wins is all we are gonna get. I happen to believe there are talented enough players for 8-9 wins.......Rhule will account for 3-4 of these wins to be loses due to poor preparation, poor in game adjustments, poor game plan, and lack of leadership allowing the wrong voices saying the wrong message in the locker room.So lets talk football. How do you know Illinois “will run the ball down our throats”? Everything you project is based on previous years, not the current team. The **** you spew proves you have no real knowledge of what the current team is. Maybe wait a few games before coming in so hard. Ride your bike around campus and go to that local DSA meeting we all know you’ll be championing. So lets talk football.
