It was a shame Sanchez couldn’t get the win because of idiotic baserunning! I did think, however, that Turner was safe at third and Harper scored.
Winning turns stupid baserunning into nothing more than a line in the box score. Mattingly, Turner, and Harper publicly say they love the aggression. I doubt they'd have loved it if they lost. Turner stealing second was a good call. It put speed at second with nobody out and a base hit would likely have scored him. Maybe, just maybe, I could have understood trying to steal third while Harper was at bat since he's a guy who can easily hit a ball deep enough for a sac fly. But Harper had already walked and Arraez was at bat when Turner tried to steal third. To what end?? Arraez is more likely to hit a single than a sac fly. Also, I think Harper trying to steal home was an attempt to make up for Turner's gaffe. But Bohm was at bat and he's been good this year with runners in scoring position. Maybe Harper didn't trust Bohm with an 0-2 count. And the Marsh blunder??

Geez, in Little League they tell you if the ball is hit to your right in that situation, stay put at second.
It's a good thing they were playing one of the worst teams in the majors.
