Luckily, Calipari is so universally hated that this could work to Kentucky's favor with the rest of the SEC and NCAA - if Fat Cal is against it, then we should allow it just to aggravate him.

It's not a coincidence Kentucky never got a call or a favorable NCAA ruling the whole time the guy was in Kentucky -- he is widely loathed.

I'm going to guess none of you actually read the article. Cal never claims what OP said at all.

Im fact, he said the portal should be opened for players that committed prior to these additions to explore their options if their spot gets taken by a returning player. "I don't begrudge any coach for wanting to make their team better or any player"

"His solution was to allow players on rosters with late additions, like Kentucky with Mitchell, to enter the portal themselves without penalty. That’s if fifth-years have to make their way back into the game for this upcoming season, before 5-for-5 kicks in, allowing everybody a fifth year of eligibility."

He simply wants the rules enforced until guardrails are put in place.

What did I say that was wrong? And now he’s arguing for rules enforced? He wasn’t crying that when all his wins and Final 4 got vacated. Was he?

and wish for transfers after the period is moot since this is a one year thing.

Correct, which is why it said:

That doesn't mean he is opposed to the Mitchell situation. It means he wants a fair playing field for the players that would suffer as a result. What do you find so egregious about that?

Marcus camby took money from an agent. Not sure how thats on Cal. Same with Rose and the alleged test crap, which wasnt ever really proven.

Cal was cleared of any wrongdoing both times.

Im as frustrated about Cals last 4 seasons at UK as anyone but give me a break.

What’s the record books say? I’ll break you off a Kit Kat bar. Cal preaching rules is the pot calling the kettle black. I know for a fact players were paid here under cal before it was legal. For a fact. Cough TJ cough.

I’ve ridden in the Escalade he crashed and ran from, many of times. He was drinking and high.

Also, that was just one case. Noel got an absolute bag too. Witnessed the money with my own eyes.

Don’t get me started on John Wall class.
