On the fence about this one. Called the RU ticket office about the status of the BC tickets ( they still haven’t received anything from BC ) I asked about the Northwestern game. Prices are a bit steep for Visiting team ($145 per seat)…..Perhaps because of the new stadium ??? Thinking about this one.

Yep…will probably be going. The NW per seat prices are insane. For their New “very small” stadium they are still trying to sell season tickets. Not surprised due to the cost$.

I will be there. Stadium looks like it's going to be great and will reshape how future college stadiums are built. I do expect $22 beers and expensive food in there. They look like they will have a block party style concourse/plaza outside the stadium for pregame festivities as well.

Just bought my tickets through RU this AM. An easy away game to convince the wife to attend since she loves Chicago. @Richie O Are there any Big Ten rules about how many tickets get allocated to visiting teams? I only ask because if it is a dedicated 3-5%, that could get dicey for them since there are only 33K seats for sale each game (and it would be way fewer tickets than most larger Big Ten fanbases expect).

Not entirely sure, but I'll shoot out a text to find out. This year is going to be different with NW, especially cause it's a new stadium and their first game in the stadium is the week before Rutgers, so shortened home schedule too.

Although I'm unaware of an official announcement, it appears that the visiting team sits on the West sideline of the new Ryan Field. Any thoughts about whether this is correct or speculation as to the designated visitor sections? Most available info is unclear as to whether it applies to the old or new stadium.

Let's meet up. We got fantastic seats from SeatGeek on Rutgers side, in Section R, around the 25. From our experience, consider getting a pair of seats at end of the row or buy an extra seat. The seating is a LOT tighter than Rutgers games. When we went to the last game at Camp Randall, we had some wide fellers next to us, and it was cozy. Those fellers did not Jump Around, fortunately.

Check out SeatGeek and another ticket site, called Gametime. They have tickets for $109, and there is a ticket guarantee. They have a $20 off coupon. Two tickets for $198 ain't bad. We got seats in the mid level for $128 each, which I think is less than $140.

Season tickets in the cheapest seats are $550, or $110/game. In the search we bought in they were $662 or $132/game--so we got them less than cost. We preferred to choose our seats for location, views, etc.

BTW, this video is great, gives you a sense of how there is not a bad seat in the house.

Also, will not receive tickets until closer to game tim- have not used it before, but I asked Grok if it was legit and Grok said:
