My Schedule, the next 2 weeks

I'm heading off on vacation over the next two weeks. I'll be heading off tomorrow (8/28), and won't be returning until 9/11.

I'll be checking the board each day during my vacation, but not nearly as frequently as is the norm.

The BWI guys know of my plans, and will be checking the board from time to time.

If you feel a post needs to be looked at by a moderator, please put a post in the thread requesting that. It REALLY helps if you also tag myself and the BWI guys in that post, as that calls attention to us (when we're on BWI's site) that something needs to be looked at. To do so, place an at signal (@) and then the respective board names:

As always, when I'm away, I ask the board community to behave. Please avoid taking shots at other posters, and as always DO NOT POST ANYTHING POLITICAL!!!

Lot's of things will be taking place during this two week interval. Most of the PSU fall teams will have competitions, PSU football will have their initial game, the NFL teams will have to get down to the roster limits and the opening games of the season will take place at the end of my vacation, the MLB teams will be in the heat of their races to try to make the postseason playoffs, the EPL transfer window will close and the early parts of their season will continue, etc. Have fun discussing any and all of the aforementioned, and several other topics.

Who the hell authorized this?

Vacation requests must be submitted 3 months in advance, and signed by the employee, their supervisor, shift manager, division head and VP of HR. Contact information must be provided, and a minimum of 25% billability is required during that time.

Failure to follow company policy will lead to suspension without pay, and mulitple offenses are considered grounds for termination.

I had to look it up. I was surprised that was the movie, but when I thought about it, I can recall the scene where it was said.
It's a good line, but overshadowed by another line in the film that took on whole different meaning.

Vacation again? It might be easier if you just shared the dates when you're not vacationing.

Do you plan on spending the entirety of your first sponsorship check from Modelo while on vacation?

LOL, the old 1% of the board community creates 99% of the work for the moderators. My comments are overkill for most people on the board. But it’s good to set the guidelines.
