Who do I take with my 5th pick? It’s a 12 team 1/2 ppr league. It’s likely going to come down to JSN/A St Brown/Cmac

Also who do I target coming back in the 2nd?

It’s a 2k buy in or I’d put that shitte on auto draft

Which means you are putting more on Sam Darnold. That’s not a good recipe, there was a reason the Vikings didn’t resign him.
Just an opinion man and I'm pretty good at this - won my league with a 15-1 record last year picking 7th. I also don't go by ADP

Jaxon Smith-Njigba posted a historic target rate of roughly 34% to 36% during his standout 2005/2025 season with the Seattle Seahawks. [1, 2]

I would take JSN, killed it with him last year. CMAC would make me nervous after the heavy usage he got last year + his age.
I would probably take CMC for the chance at 1k yds rushing, 1k yds receiving, 100 catches, 15 TDs.

But man, the niners receivers are worse than they were last year, so you know they're going to ride CMC until his wheels fall off, which could be around mid-season if they're not careful.

There's probably no wrong answer but with his injury history, his age and wear and tear, I'd be surprised if he makes it through the entire schedule. You're right about the receivers though, Pearsall injured and out for the year, Kittle will be coming back from a bad injury so we could be looking at the rookie Stribling as the number one receiver 😬

Sometimes I think it's a style of play thing for me, but I tend to go for the high-risk/high-reward. If he can stay on the field he could easily be the overall top scoring fantasy player. I'd take a shot on that, over playing it safe. "No risk-it, no biscuit", and all that. :)

Maybe once Aiyuk figures out that he won't be in Washington and he can't go back to college for one more year of eligibility, he'll sit down with the niners and they can make amends. :)

Trust me, I'm all about risk. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't go by ADP and instead I study my *** off to identify breakout players so I usually get bad draft grades, like I did last year and last night's draft. JSN and Pickens were barely on the radar last year when I picked them and they both ended up top 3 in yardage. I also identified Skattebo and he was killing it before he went down.

He had 413 touches last year. I leaned my lesson years ago with Larry Johnson. The year after he rushed 416 times, I drafted him. And he sucked. I refuse to draft RB who has more than 350 touches the year before

I agreed with your JSN assessment. Who are you targeting this year?

I had my draft last night and picked 4th. There are only a handful of great backs so I took Jonathan Taylor 1st & Skattebo in 3rd rd (nervous about them picking up Najee at the last minute but I'm high on him.) Receivers were Pickens, Tee Higgins( might regret not taking Tetairoa who was also available) and Rome Odunze. Reached for Dart who I wanted 2nd to Allen...getting Nabers back, the rookie Malachi and TE Likely. Reached for Aubrey at K because he killed it last year and is good from 60+ most of the time.

You took JT over Cmac?

Cant remember if CMAC was picked 3rd but I would have anyway. Daniel Jones is coming off injury, they traded Pittman and Alec Pierce is injured so I expect them to ride him like a dog. Its also imprinted on my memory that he was responsible for my only loss last year when he had a 50 pt. game against Atlanta, haha.
