Dems are the party of death and destruction. It’s gross

Why do you do this to yourself? Your algorythm knows exactly what will get you clicking, triggered and coming back for more. Why not use the internet for verifying the information?

Spanberger ended Virginia’s 287(g) agreements...that is not the same as banning police from enforcing state criminal law or preventing ICE from doing its own job. In this case, Loudoun County deputies investigated the overdose cases, executed search warrants, arrested Melendez-Carranza, and he is being held without bond on drug-distribution charges. ICE has already lodged a detainer, and the sheriff says he will be transferred to ICE after the local case is resolved.

Soooooo, "this is who she’s protecting" is, once again 100% false and dishonest framing of an actual event.

Can you link the thread? I typically skip all the COVID, measles, anti-vaxer threads (Joe's Place ruined any medical threads for me). I can give them a second chance if you like.

Regardless, that's your justification for pushing misinformation...an internet poster didn't respond to an unrelated thread?

Convenient

I don’t need justification and it’s not misinformation.
Would you rather me blame the prior administration? Would that be more accurate? Would that suit you better lol

So wait. Are you trying to say this is more lies and misleading information from the right? They would never.

Speaking of "convenient", nice goal post move. You went from "Spanberger banned police from cooperating with ICE" and is protecting this guy to "well.....should I blame the prior administration?"

If the prior admin failed to deport him after a removal order, then yes, blast away. But that is NOT what you posted and it doesnt make your OP any truer. Loudoun police arrested him, he's held without bond and ICE has a detainer. So once again, what did Spanberger prevent in this case?

And I already explained why I skip most medical threads. Joe's Place was an unbearable know-it-all who never admitted when he was wrong...one of the "libtards" go on about. You'd have loved him.

Dude has to make a living somehow. Trump is clamping down on federal aid. Vance is clamping down on fraud. How is someone supposed to make a living?

Because they were permitted to cooperate under “limited circumstances”? So in your mind, that makes the tweet misinformation?

Um, yes...because "banned police from cooperating with ICE" means police can't cooperate with ICE. That isn't what happened. The tweet was designed to pander to it's audience for clicks. True reporting presents facts, not emotion ➡️ "Demonic"

Ending 287(g) agreements limits ONE particular kind of voluntary local-federal immigration enforcement partnership. It dosen't stop local police from investigating crimes, making arrests, executing warrants, OR ICE taking custody after the criminal case. "Limited circumstances" isn't a ban either. And in the OP you used, Loudoun did exactly what you claimed her policy prevented...investigated/arrested the suspect, held him without bond, and coordinated with ICE.

“When signing the order, Spanberger stated that state and local law enforcement should focus on core responsibilities like investigating local crime and community policing rather than enforcing federal civil immigration laws”

So technically the tweet wasn’t exact until common sense kicks in, so congrats on finding the fallacy 👍🏻

You're starting to remind me of Joe's place with this one. You've found a hill to die on, and I'm not sure why.

You literally just conceded that the tweet wasn't technically accurate and then argued that "common sense" makes it okay.

that's not how this works seth meyers GIF by Late Night with Seth Meyers

If the actual policy is "ending certain 287(g) agreements while still allowing local police to investigate crimes, make arrests, execute warrants, and coordinate with ICE," then saying the governor "banned police from cooperating with ICE" is deliberately misleading shorthand. ...and I assume that was your intention??? Otherwise, what was your purpose in posting this? Did you attempt to verify before you did? Is my responding to it what you desired?
