We beat South Point in 17 when you had one of your best teams ever. Then in 18 and 19 we killed South Point and you won in the Covid year when we played in the spring. A season we didn’t even play Crest. No way South Points beats Shelby in 21. I don’t have a clue what your talking about.
BEST teams ever at SP in 2017??? LOL - no, no. Not even close. The previous two years kids (senior classes) won A LOT at every level and were dripping with talent. The 2017 seniors were along for the ride. A lot of hype around 17 SP team....and they were a good team, but nothing close to best ever in Belmont.
You absolutely did kill SP in 18-19.. during that time when I said "we weren't very good". Nobody denies that. Outgoing HCs don't leave when the cupboard is REALLY full. Again, proving my point about 2017. ML knew most of the talent had just left the building.

I was at a Christmas party a few years ago and a now former SP coach was there. Great guy. He told me I would never in a million years believe what one of the drills was to find out whether a lineman had potential for the Red Bone. He said the rope drill coarse. I busted out laughing and said there is no way. He said they would get every lineman to run through and they based potential off 2 different criteria.

1) If they fell - Immediate starter
2) If the rope clotheslined them in the neck - All American - Definite Starter

Hands down the craziest thing I have ever heard from a Coach.

Here we go again. I can only pray the AD at Crest stays out of it. Otherwise we'll be rotting in the heat on Saturday @ 1pm again.

God bless yall. I thought that was tough for both teams. I can only assume we didn't see their best (either side)....because that's certainly not the conditions they are made to practice in these days. It's gotta be 75 degrees with no thunder within 200 miles to practice football I believe it the new rule.

Heck dude. I was only worried about myself. It was hotter than you in a Crest shirt sitting over there.

I don’t know if the game would have went this way or that way the night before but I do know my scalp can’t take that again. I got a hair cut, saw clouds and left the hat at home. My own fault. At one point I think I questioned if I even like football. 😂😂😂

My bald self had a hat and I was still burning up. I was on your side. Had about 6-7 Cramer kids sitting in front of me but they all have a head full of hair 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I think Burns can run the ball on KM but don’t know if they can stop KM passing game..I think the game gonna be closer than everyone thinks

It depends on how you look at it. Closer as in KM might not whip us or Burns might not whip them? I would think we are the underdog considering we have not beat them in quite awhile and it’s at KM.

It should be a tough physical game. We know Max will get some decent runs at times but our defense can’t let him go crazy. KM’s defense held Shelby to 92yds rushing on 32 carries. I will take that. We just want the dub.

Burns is solid. I believe if Burns stays healthy and can generate some passing game, the Bulldogs will be a tough out in the playoffs. I the Dawgs favored to come out of the west at the moment.

Crest vs Shelby may not be the fireworks that some are expecting. I believe this game is going to be a grind it out defensive type of game. Both defenses are good especially in the front seven. Running will be a chore. I give Shelby’s secondary a slight edge over the Crest secondary at the moment. I believe this game will come down to special teams and turnovers. I hope this game is streamed so I can watch it later.

I expect much of the same. If we can pass the ball here and there successfully we can stay in the game but if we can't and only rely on the ground we could be playing from behind all night. We also cannot let Jenkins sit back comfortable all night either. Should be a great atmosphere.

I think you are 100 percent correct. A defensive slugfest is what I think too.

I'm probably wrong but I still think it.

Clark is a baller. He looked dominant at times.
I don't think anyone would disagree that he changed the game last week. The turnover back to back drives was all him but even throughout the game he was there in times that would have been huge chunks of yards had he not been there. He was all over the field. He could be a huge factor this Friday too. Solid ball player.
