Been saying for months now that the only end to all this is that everybody will be eligible unless actively signed to a NBA or NFL roster. Not practice squad, not 2-way, the active roster.

Otherwise you can enjoy seeing nonsense lawsuits go back and forth forever.

Louisiana is the most corrupt state in the US. Is that a surprise a Louisiana judge granted the injunction so Luis can play for LSU? College sports is a farce. But this farce will continue as long as people continue to watch and go to the games.

What rules? Both the SEC AND B1G are putting out rules against taking guys who had NFL contracts. Not sure about hoops.

Regardless, a school like LSU will go against its own conference commissioner who strongly urged LSU not to take Luis and filed a brief in the court case saying the judge should not allow Luis to play hoops at LSU. They don’t care.

BTW, our great state university has a president and AD from LSU. I would think they know where all the figurative bodies are buried down there.

Leave it to LSU, Lane Kiffin and an East Baton Rouge Parish judge to turn the transfer portal into a pros-to-college rotating door. Go ahead and curse them, but know that while they might be first, they are unlikely to be last.

College athletics is always about self-dealing and self-interests.

I think the Luis situation is clearly outside the current rules. Between his age, playing in NBA preseason games, multiple contracts. It’s different than the scenarios with 24 and under Euros or G league guys.

Meanwhile, St.John's lost their starting F to injury and replace him with 5th year Keyshawn Hall. First Team All-SEC Forward who averaged 19.3 & 7.1 rebounds for Auburn last year. Will need a lawsuit win to be eligible.

As bad as Lane Kiffin is, Will Wade is even worse. How the people running LSU can justify this stuff is beyond me. An institution of higher learning? In name only.
