I know a lot of names, but I’m not sure I can name a single OL starter (although I think the Boone kid is our center).
I’m sure I’ll hear all their names soon enough in conjunction with Holding, Illegal Procedure, Chop Block, Personal Foul etc etc…

Any of y'all who can't name Fluff, Kelly Jones, Isaac Smith, Anthony Evans, or Will Whitson are either too stupid for this board or are simply lying to protect your feelings and pretending not to care. Which, that second one I can understand.
Being totally honest, I know who all those players are, but I did not know if they were all still on the team until just now.
Im like the UF fan in the video. I used to know everything about State's 2 deep. But I checked out in early 2024, and now it seems like its too much effort to even learn anyone's first name.

I used to know the players that had committed in recruiting. Now I couldn't name 1 guy and barely could name 5 guys on the entire team.

The entire point of the video is that NIL and the Transfer Portal have made rosters so volatile that most people don’t think it’s worth it to know who’s on the team because it’ll be an almost completely new roster each year. This likely includes Kamario Taylor and, if he lives up to the hype, he’ll be bought by another school with more money and leave here next year. Why do you think some school hasn’t come after Lebby?

The point of my response was that I believe some of these posters (not you obviously) really could name some of the players if they tried, but they're just saying they can't because they want to be SixPackCool.
Maybe you really are checked out so much that you literally can't name one other player on the team. I hate that for you and any supposed State fan who has completely abandoned all hope and support for their alma mater, but hey I get it. I definitely don't spend as much time as I used to, I just don't mind admitting I know some of the players. I read about them here. I listen to podcasts. The first game is next week. I've got a little excitement and am ready to see us play. I know that makes me uncool but IDGAF
Casuals are going to become the norm I'm afraid.....if they are even that interested. A lot of people are just flat losing interest because of NIL and the portal. My Saturdays for decades have totally revolved around college football, either at home or at a game. This fall I think I'm going to get out and do some other stuff when the weather is good. I love fall weather.

I am going to die from laughter when we go full circle and name Arnett as the intern head coach following Lebby’s firing.
That's what I was saying. They are playing it cool, but surely most people who bother to hang out on a State message board could name some players.
