San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York landed in an Ohio jail Sunday ... after being arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution.

York was busted in East Palestine and booked into the Columbiana County Jail before posting $5,000 bond.

The case moved quickly from there ... prosecutors amended the original engaging-in-prostitution count to misdemeanor disorderly conduct before York pleaded no contest Monday.

York also pleaded no contest to possessing criminal tools -- a misdemeanor.

A judge sentenced York to one day in jail on each count, served concurrently, with credit for time already served ... and ordered him to pay $1,150 in fines.

According to WKBN, which first reported the news, York's cell phone was ordered returned to him ... while $160 seized in the case was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

York became 49ers team president in 2008 and is the franchise's majority owner.

We've reached out to the 49ers for comment ... so far, no word back.

Arrested in a trailer park. I guess the police have solved all the other crime in the area.

Now some poor young girl or guy has to find a new client.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly tried to pay a woman a little over a hundred dollars for sex.

Court documents obtained by The California Post on Monday state York responded to an ad on a known prostitution website in Columbiana County, Ohio and “arranged to have sexual activity with the female in exchange for $140.00.”

York then went to a meeting location, a trailer park in East Palestine, Ohio, where he was taken into custody after an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human trafficking Task Force found York had “in his possession his cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act,” according to the court documents.

It's an OK take if the person being prostituted consents to being there. If they don't it's a pretty ****** comment on your part.

Most prostitutes aren't in the profession by choice. Most are controlled through drugs, physical violence, mental abuse... Or, a combination of all of these and more.
As @GOHOX69 said, he should have brought in a high priced "model".
