Burroughs should wrestle Georgio the Utube “take you down for thousand dollar guy.” That would further explain that there are levels to the skill sets… not sure weight class or if it would matter.

It's incredible how fast RAF has grown in just one year. I'd have thought maybe a show every three months, and now they are running every month, already doing international events, running a youth tournament series, and breaking their gate record every ensuing show. Last year they debuted in Cleveland at a college arena and didn't know how tickets would sell, and now this year in Rocket Arena. Hoping for a great year 2 and keep building the momentum to the Olympic year crescendo.

Jacori Teemer is on the RAF13 card, hope he is finally healthy after being away for awhile.

I hope Teemer is healed up and healthy also.
Best of luck to him, but even a healthy Teemer is hard to watch....

You aren't wrong. I still can't figure out how Franek ever lost to him, let alone lost to him every single time they wrestled. But then you see some of the weird stuff Teemer pulls out and he's rarely far enough behind in a match he couldn't pull something off.

Kennedy Blades opponent dropped out so Reese Larramendy will be facing her former Hawkeye teammate on short notice tonight at a catchweight. Reese actually has a four lb weight advantage.
Interesting herd there pretty good friends from a podcast kennedy was on they went to Wyoming Sem together and were roommates i believe

Always wondered what that would look like. Larramendy may keep it close with the advantage of probably lots of head to head training together. Plus, Larramendy is very good herself and should have strength advantage.

Pretty good action tonight. Nolf looked great in handling Wick in their one year anniversary rematch, and our Brands-trained, honorary Hawkeye Cejudo getting some quick revenge in that main event. Steveson dominated Cassioppi for the millionth time but was so boring they actually booed him after settling for his third pushout. And McEnelly beating Nickal was a bit of an upset to me, don't like either guy much and hope Angelo beats Max this year for the title.

I really enjoyed the event. Great entertainment and spots of good wrestling. I was okay with Gable getting booed. He owes us nothing, but dammit he should have come back and won a second gold. Tony should have shot or tried something, danced around too much. JB was impressive. Blades has massive charisma on top of being in a different class wrestling wise. Wish I had seen more HWC and Hawk wrestling gear around. I would definitely encourage others to go.

Cassioppi actually has a brain. Graduated with a math degree. At some point you would hope he'd use it and get
The psychology of internet trolls combines toxic personality traits with the liberating effects of digital anonymity. Research links habitual trolling to the Dark Tetrad: everyday sadism, psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism. Trolls intentionally provoke emotional distress to feed on negative social rewards like chaos and control.

Core Personality Traits

  • Sadism: Finding direct amusement and pleasure in causing others emotional pain.

  • Psychopathy: Lacking affective empathy and guilt, meaning trolls understand what hurts people but simply do not care.

  • Machiavellianism: Enjoying manipulation and treating online interactions as a game of strategic deception.

  • Narcissism: Seeking a skewed sense of superiority by making others look foolish or predictable.

Environmental Triggers

  • Online Disinhibition: Anonymity, invisibility, and lack of immediate face-to-face consequences make people bolder and less restricted.

  • Situational Moods: Studies show that ordinary people who are tired, lonely, or having a bad day can slip into trolling behavior.

  • The Bandwagon Effect: Seeing hostile comments in a thread normalizes the behavior and pushes others to join in.

Vlad is 35 and not the same guy he used to be. I was expecting a tech honestly.

Yeah, he's more of the level of facing the crossover guys like Cejudo is now rather than anyone that's still active in freestyle. I don't think he had wrestled much since pre-Covid when he came back to face Bo Bassett. Have to go back to 2018 for any high finishes of note. He really should be facing guys like Lugo and Eierman rather than Mendez or Bassett if he didn't have that Gold medal credential to help sell the bigger matches. But I'm still glad he's able to participate now and make some dough off that legacy. And he'll probably upset someone of note if he keeps it up.

This was a quality win for Iowa wrestling.

Dude, if a guy wrestling for your favorite team's biggest rival, annihilated your guys to a point that it replayed in your nightmares, you'd be rooting against him too! Their best result was when Sammy Brooks lasted 1 minute and 2 seconds, which was 24 seconds longer than he lasted in their previous matchup.

There is losing and there is LOSING!

Max Mcenelly and RDR are the two most successful Hawk upper weights against PSU since wrestling was invented in 2011.
