yeah, I almost turned it off, as I have several things to do. But, I decided to hang in there a few more minutes, and pure amazement as it unfolded.
Marmol is going to get blistered for not making the pitching change. Fun fact - Marmol managed the State College Spikes back when they were a Cardinals affiliate.
After Sunday's (8/23) heroics:
In the East:
- 3 back of the Braves
- 6 up on the Marlins
In the Wild Card:
- 2nd of 3 teams
- 2 back of the Cubs
- 2 up on the Padres
--------------------
- 4 up on the Diamondbacks
- 6 up on the Marlins
- 7 1/2 up on the Cardinals
- 10 1/2 up on the Pirates
Note a lot of movement, as the Braves, Marlins, Cubs, and Diamondbacks won on Sunday. The Cardinals (obviously) and the Pirates lost

We’ve got a Zack Wheeler problem. Hopefully just a tired arm, but he’s not been looking good for several starts
