He didn't go every weekend, but he went quite often. That’s a 36 hour round trip. He would have to be on drugs to do it.

I doubt this impacts PSU or the greek system. You would have to be incredibly naive to think there is any greek system at any college (or any college for that matter) that is completley drug free.Of course the story will fade away and thankfully the season starts soon. I do wonder if this affects the number of applicants in the coming year. I also wonder if this affects the greek system numbers.
As far as PR, has Penn State put out any public statement about this? I would think they would at least make some boiler plate comment but maybe not.
Well played
Pablo supposedly was paid around $125k over the years . Chat GPT has one cut kilo at $100-300 k in street value . Either he didn’t step on it enough or the math ain’t mathing .Oh gosh. Kilos.
I’d rather be mocked as the Nittany Lines than the monikers from the last big scandal . Our image is trending up . /sI’m disappointed that it didn’t happen on page 1. We are losing our edge.

This post made me feel bad.If you let this impact you or your feelings on PSU, that is all on you alone. This notion that all cops are bad when a bad cop is in the news is beyond idiotic.....but it happens even though it is clearly irrational. This notion this is impacting the lives of your loved ones or your family...is made up in your head. The fact that people take it so personally when people they have never meant, have nothing to do with, and do bad things is such a neon billboard for insecurity. The vast majority of students up there are doing great things and staying out of trouble. People let crap like this define them because they need to be the victim. "Can you believe the media said Penn State", when it was a fraternity at Penn State.....well yeah, but that doesn't impact all of the alums, students, and faculty somehow.
The kicker is in any of this if it were another university the bootlickers here that pretend this is impacting them would be talking about how awful that school is or how they aren't as morally superior. At what point do these people wake up and stop trying to be victims all of the time or blaming everyone else that they don't know as being their issue. It's a joke already. This will be out of the news cycle within a week and maybe the nitwits crying about this can find a new way to be the victims in the next issue.
PSU will somehow survive this, hopefully the victims here so distraught over other families children being arrested will somehow manage to go on.
Probably around 10% of the undergrad population. What were the "greek" numbers before this?
I missed the news of Long Island succeeding…Perhaps Penn State’s addiction to high-net worth foreign students isn’t so wise?
I missed the news of Long Island succeeding…
Success wasn't spelled BGJ.It depends on your definition of success.
It depends on your definition of irony.Ironically enough the movie Blow is currently on Sundance.![]()
No soup for you Mr Robinson
I'm certainly not upset about a few arrogant, elitist frat brats winding up sharing a jail cell with some low life Kensington drug dealer.I wonder if they cancel the season the way some are carrying on like this is impacting their lives so harshly. The fact now that someone is saying out loud that grooming and molesting kids through a children's charity isn't as bad kind of takes the cake. These young men gambled they wouldn't get caught and now will pay a price....but they knew it was wrong so I really don't see why anyone is upset by this.
Maybe- the guys who will really get hammered will be the ones whose families can't afford high priced defense attorneys and endless appeals. They better make deals to testify for the state while there are deals to be had.Young Mr. Robinson and his elitist buddies will learn some valuable lessons on the loss of privilege. The arrogance of these individuals is disgusting.
You are correct. But it would be satisfying to see that arrogant smile wiped from young Mr. Robinson's face in his mug shot.Maybe- the guys who will really get hammered will be the ones whose families can't afford high priced defense attorneys and endless appeals. They better make deals to testify for the state while there are deals to be had.
The richest ones may not spend much time- if any- at the crossbar hotel.
Arrogance plus stupidity and most of all NO morals is a bad combination.Young Mr. Robinson and his elitist buddies will learn some valuable lessons on the loss of privilege. The arrogance of these individuals is disgusting.

If they’re smart, plumbers. It used to just be fat, drunk, and stupid. Now it’s also arrogant and immoral. It’s tough for a “college“ kid () today. What can they be?

Stupid is as Stupid does.If coaches would only wait till Mondays, they'd be winners. Some coaches have made a good living being fat, drunk, stupid, arrogant, and immoral.
Fixed, ffs. In case anyone’s wondering, no, I am not fat. Some mathematicians have made a good living being fat, drunk, stupid, arrogant, and immoral.
Was everyone involved arrogant, elitist frat brats?I'm certainly not upset about a few arrogant, elitist frat brats winding up sharing a jail cell with some low life Kensington drug dealer.
Did my post say "everyone"?Was everyone involved arrogant, elitist frat brats?
I didn't say it did, I asked a simple question if all involved were arrogant, elitist frat brats?Did my post say "everyone"?
The ring leaders were.I didn't say it did, I asked a simple question if all involved were arrogant, elitist frat brats?
Blaming it on the dress again?Fixed, ffs. In case anyone’s wondering, no, I am not fat.
Yeah...best to keep it quiet and let it slide away rather than letting them hire a PR team to do anything.Come remind again in 2-3 weeks how much of the news cycle this is taking up.
