Always a double standard towards Rutgers...Win or I'm not coming/buying anymore, yet people happily continue lighting their $ on fire with Jets tickets despite the decades of futility and crappy stadium and experience. What have the Jets done to earn that loyalty and $? The reality is that we're in a pro market where many more people prioritize pro sports over college, and will always find easy excuses to go to Jets games over Rutgers games. Spend your $ and time on what you want without the faux excuses.

I believe that if Rutgers put forth a quality product, we'd see huge demand and interest. It's cheaper, 600k plus living alumni with 400k of that in the metro area. Demand should not an issue

not a Jets fan so don't care anything about them and if they left the area for San Diego or someplace, wouldn't blink

22 year season ticket holder here. Part badge of honor and part I'd miss it if I didn't have them. I don't know my seat mates any more because they've changed so often. Except the guy a row or two behind me who must be the most pessimistic, miserable man ever. He needs to give the seats up.

Basketball I prefer way more. Got amazing seats, indoors, in/out in 2 hours and actually feel like we can win whereas football I already know how the movie ends with the current staff.

The NIL doesn't help. Hoops its worse but its only 5-6 guys I need to learn about.

Started season tixs with young alum season package for $50 in ‘97. Had football season tixs for 17 yrs in section 128 and gave up for the life of traveling around the States for daughter’s soccer schedule. She’s going into senior HS year.

I’ll be back and look forward to traveling to a CFP playoff game if RU is not hosting within the next five years.

I'm with you on all counts.

This will be last year for premium for Rutgers, I'll join another board as I like the national board. The round table has become one big echo chamber and less chatter than on this side. I think Richie and Co do a great job with what they have to work with and go out of their way to create content but I don't see any value for me and heaven forbid you challenge the status quo. I've said and dropped things that went against the narrative only to be proven right time and time again.

bball -don't agree with your view on the two and overall performance but basketball has hope whereas football just treading water

we've a kid in the program for 3yrs, in an offense that the OC said takes 2-3yrs to master and a transfer who was benched at BC is performing well enough that its a slim margin feel call. At the very least, AJ hasn't separated himself enough to be definitive. Even the BIG crew said as much and I told everyone that a QB was coming our way when the narrative was the staff is fine with the QB room.

is there even true value to holding season tickets ? We over pay for the game tickets.

the underlying emotion of the post is …it feels like we’re going to be stuck in this lack luster , bottom fourth of the league position with little to be reasonably excited about for awhile. I wanted Greg to come back but this program is currently just stale, accepting underperforming, losing new generations of potential fans and losing the interest of existing hardcore fans at an alarming rate.

Sorry about that, I might be that guy. Although probably not, as for some strange reason my seatmates have stayed relatively the same with a few newcomers for the past 21 yrs. Call it like some type of group insanity.

As for giving up season tickets, I've tried and wanted out, only to be talked off the ledge for several years now. Got my way with Rutgers Wrestling tickets for one year, my birthday present this year was, Rutgers Wrestling tickets. I just can't win.

unfortunately its a sentiment that many feel and I always thinking about bailing and then some stupid idea says give it one more year. Thats why we are fans but there is virtually no enthusiasm about the product of football. Similar story with my group of friends but that was during the 90s..your group died out after Ash, mine after Shea. Greg 1.0 ascent was definitely fun and tailgaiting was awesome and the entry into the big 10 for bigger crowds and atmosphere helped but that is 10 years ago. People get older and things wane. Not fun to know exactly how the season is going to play out with Greg in charge. We do it out of habit moreso than desire.
