No, you aren’t watching The Twilight Zone. But if you’ve been watching this year’s Hard Knocks with the Seattle Seahawks, you could have seen a future Kentucky running back. What a wild time to be alive.
Last Saturday, TJ Harden received two carries in the Seahawks’ loss to the Cowboys in an NFL preseason game. He was waived two days later. Fast forward 48 hours, and Harden was in the transfer portal. On3’s Pete Nakos reports that Kentucky is one of four schools being considered for Harden, along with Kansas, Baylor, and Syracuse. If Harden joins the roster, he would bring more proven production than any player in the running back room. He started his career at UCLA, and after three years transferred to SMU. He posted 787 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns for the Mustangs in 2025. Harden has 2,445 career rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns at the Power Conference level.
