I am projecting early graduation given his age.
Either way based on the outcome, the board has once again judged LWE incorrectly
If this is a down year for LWE I’m glad BR didn’t play them during an up one. Rice had a lot of mistakes and penalties but LWE is LWE and that doesn’t ever seem to change.
Agreed. LWE has a bunch of solid looking kids who play tough. Nothing special but they do it every single year.
I created the clock thread out of spite and jest after some folks put BR at 1A/B with MC ...
My kid’s at East, but I thought BR was going to take this as East lost a ton from last year, what a win for the Griffins, even though they haven’t lost an opener since 2015. Too bad MC is going to steamroll everyone this year.
But it’s nice to see the LWE train rolling yet again.
I will say BR has a crazy amount of talent, if they can play more disciplined they will be hard to beat.

I think film is going to be rather brutal in the morning for BR...
McGee went in on offense when BR went up 14-7 and then never came back from mid 3rd Q on.....I saw him running on the sideline....I'm guessing groin, he had the same injury the second half vs MC last year....

I’m tired of schools like LWE recruiting and bringing players from Libertyville to Frankfort to play for them. Stop this nonsense. Congrats LWE.
McGee is a stud without a doubt. The doubt for his future development is only for cerebral gain in his senior season. BR coaches have some game film to look at in an attempt to play more within the framework of discipline. Good luck moving forward Crusaders. Griffins are 3-0 for you historians when facing Rice.

Libertyville to Frankfort is like 70 miles. I will say that in the interest of good high school football I’m okay with this.

1. on paper brother rice was night and day better. And man did it look that way during warmups.
2. East completely out coached Rice! I mean one team tough, physical and discipline. And Rice was not…
3. The freshman QB should never come out of the game for Rice. Feel bad for the older kid but it’s not even close.
4. The #5 stud not being in there in 2nd half was the 2nd biggest difference after the poor coaching for Rice.

Will be interesting to see now, and going forward how hard these top end recruits push themselves. That big NIL bag is their main priority now so if they tweak something, the last thing they're gonna do is risk that $$$.
