DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The owner of a rehabilitation business that helps people with sober living, was charged with two counts of sexual abuse, along with several drug possession charges.
According to court documents, Jeffery King, 38, of Davenport, was arrested on Thursday by the Davenport Police Department on charges that stem from a report of sexual abuse in July.
Court documents allege King invited a client to his home in the 1300 block of East 35th Street and gave her ecstasy and crystal meth.
King allegedly had a 357 Magnum gun and began waiving it in the air. The woman told police she believed the gun was real.
Court documents allege King then began sexually abusing the woman.
During a search of King’s home on Thursday, police found the gun, along a with blue and pink skull-shaped pill that police believe is meth/ecstasy. They also found multiple pipes, rolled up dollar bills, and clear plastic baggies with white and purple powder.
Police said they found a total of 3 grams of meth, 4 grams of heroin, and 2 grams of crack cocaine.
