Those are some high scores. I am going to go out on a limb and say Garner will not score 30 points on Millbrook. I doubt they score more than 2 TD.
Millbrook D is tough! Week 1 predictions are a slog because of roster turnover so I agree with you.
Byrnes/Indy will not be close at all. Byrnes will destroy them.
I hear Byrnes is going to be real good this year. Ive heard Independence will be down. I take Byrnes in this one.

The lack of research from AI experts this year is mind numbing.
NO research at all. Byrnes might be top 5 regardless of class in SC. Indy will be way down. Lost a ton of talent, lost a great coach, and have a first year coach. Byrnes had D1 talent all over the field.

It is a lot of fun to look at predictions and spreads but early in the season it is usually a crap shoot. I will say that Millbrook and Hoggard had great defenses last year and both teams brought back a lot plus Millbrook got a lot of transfers. Predicting that those 2 defenses would give up over 30 points each was a head scratcher to me.
Right, thats a given. But, getting a very low percentage of your picks right, something is off.
Projected scores, money lines, and O/U totals are not 'pick-em predictions'- I could've made this more clear in the original post. If you see in the far right of my graphic you'll see that "My rank disagrees" with the computer projections meaning I have the opposing team ranked as better than the computer's projected winner.
Regardless, I am a staunch believer that computer projections do NOT tell the full story of high school football and CAN be trusted more in non-coin flip games- my graphic's intent was to list games to watch, not make predictions.

Garner vs Millbrook
Understood. It makes more sense when you phrase it that way. But either way, Byrnes/Indy was never a game of the week contender. It was always going to be a very one sided game sans lightning.
