Decent seats
Not my actual seats but not far from them. I got that same spot about 15 rows back for 50 bucks the night before. I creeped down to the fancy seats for a couple innings. No one said a word. Primarily because they could tell I wasn’t someone who shouldn’t be trifled with. Skenes was a late Saturday night scratch for Sunday. Typical LSU *****. He’s lost at least 2 mph in velocity. Turns out trying to throw the ball 100 mph every single pitch isn’t the best long term career move. Livvie is taking pool boy applications if you know what I mean.

Saw an article where curt (Kurt?) schilling had been critical of Skenes’ form a year ago and said this was gonna happen.

I was in Boston a couple of years ago and stayed at a hotel near Fenway. The Mrs and I were going to just buy some tickets at the gate or from a scalper for that nights game. Riding down the elevator some guy asked us if we needed tickets, $25 each. We didn’t care where they were because we figured we would walk around most of the game anyway. We get to our seats row 5 directly behind home plate. We’re sitting right in the middle of a bunch of scouts from other teams with laptops and radar guns. They’re asking where’s Frank. Apparently Frank was the scout for the Mariners and found something better to do that night and sold us his tickets.

That was the last time any one saw Frank Guthrie. Boston PD is still on the hunt for the mysterious couple that boarded the elevator with the legendary Mariners scout.

You have no idea how heavy two bags of Quickrete are when the Home Depot is five blocks away and you’ve watched enough Dateline to know better than call an Uber!
