I've seen the commercial several times and "Go state'" in white on blue pillows has been on the sofa every time.
Wait until they try the Bill Clinton 'I didn’t inhale ' defense.
They have two versions they use and go state is still being used
The lawyer for the dipsh|t lawyer actually said it is just a "misunderstanding".
Obviously, he is innocent.

Most laws schools are bleeding money fast - and generally heavily subsidized by other parts of their various universities.
(Including, of course, PSU's law schools - which is why they were going to be "restructured" (like the CWCs
) - until politics got in the way).
Wait, is everyone still hand wringing over some kids dealing, stealing, snorting, chorting, bumping, rumping, and rubbing blow over their gums?
Apparently the season can’t start soon enough. Also, apparently, nobody overdosed from this criminal enterprise.
Word of advice to everyone thinking about folding, packing, weighing, dicing, distributing, bumping, chumping, transporting cocaine or any other illegal drug not found on the counter of your locally owned convenience store gas station that is more of a one off than chain and heck, let’s include the chains as well because everyone is in the business of selling unregulated drugs in that line of work……..if you are going to deal and do, don’t get caught. Else wise, you may end up the focus of seven pages of succinct and expert analysis from the experts on the TM Board.
Now let’s all get out there and have a wild Friday and remember……

I wonder if they cancel the season the way some are carrying on like this is impacting their lives so harshly. The fact now that someone is saying out loud that grooming and molesting kids through a children's charity isn't as bad kind of takes the cake. These young men gambled they wouldn't get caught and now will pay a price....but they knew it was wrong so I really don't see why anyone is upset by this.

Comparing some kids dealing grams of blow to college kids having fun, to some monster that ruined the lives of an untold number of children, ruining their lives forever, is just so out of touch.

We don't know that at all. What we do know is what I actually commented on. I'm not patting anyone on the back here, but children being groomed by a monster versus college kids using their own money to buy drugs....unless something came out where they were being forced to take the drug....it's really not the same thing.
There is no trophy for drug dealing or molesting kids was kind of my point, but apparently you seem to agree with someone who wants to pretend they are the same thing or this was somehow worse. How the same group of people here can tie everything back to Paterno or them being a victim in other people doing criminal acts is pretty absurd to watch IMO.
People do stupid crap everywhere, but this constant victim mentality is a joke here.

Like the "victims" of the dealers did not know the risks. Comparing the two "scandals" (why we care that much about the coke ring is beyond me) is ridiculous.
My first thought when all this came out was why the Feds wouldn't take this case to send a message, but it doesn't appear they actually recovered enough drugs to make it worthwhile. In reading the presentment, they only recovered 73.8 grams of cocaine from Robinson through controlled purchases and the search of his room. I'm sure they have bank and Venmo records, but no indication of any cash, drugs, or packaging material recovered from Abbatiello.
Given how quickly Robinson gave up info, I wonder why they didn't or were unable to use Robinson, Huraibi, Zeepvat or Zanella to make controlled buys off of Abbatiello, especially since they waited to file charges and Abbatiello was still allegedly selling as late as February of 2026. Or better yet, use them to set up the NY dealer. The Philly dealer apparently wised up and stopped working with Zeepvat.
For Robinson's dad, do they have the safe/drugs, proof that dad disposed of the safe, or any way of proving that he knew there were drugs, cash or other evidence contained within? There are a lot of unanswered questions.

Not the same as the Sandusky sh## show but this still runs the PSU name through the crapper. It is not like these stories of cocaine rings on college campuses pop up all the time. If you let this impact you or your feelings on PSU, that is all on you alone. This notion that all cops are bad when a bad cop is in the news is beyond idiotic.....but it happens even though it is clearly irrational. This notion this is impacting the lives of your loved ones or your family...is made up in your head. The fact that people take it so personally when people they have never meant, have nothing to do with, and do bad things is such a neon billboard for insecurity. The vast majority of students up there are doing great things and staying out of trouble. People let crap like this define them because they need to be the victim. "Can you believe the media said Penn State", when it was a fraternity at Penn State.....well yeah, but that doesn't impact all of the alums, students, and faculty somehow.
The kicker is in any of this if it were another university the bootlickers here that pretend this is impacting them would be talking about how awful that school is or how they aren't as morally superior. At what point do these people wake up and stop trying to be victims all of the time or blaming everyone else that they don't know as being their issue. It's a joke already. This will be out of the news cycle within a week and maybe the nitwits crying about this can find a new way to be the victims in the next issue.
PSU will somehow survive this, hopefully the victims here so distraught over other families children being arrested will somehow manage to go on.

I was by no means comparing the two and you are reading too much into my comment. My comment was more about wondering if anyone died from the drug dealing. I had too many people in my life that died from OD/bad drugs.
For the record, I do not think the crimes are the same.

I'll be honest...I have no idea. I haven't heard that yet, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have happened. I've attended a few of those funerals and know people who lost decades on the stuff....not saying it's victimless either, but this site in particular has a small group who pretend every PSU news item is costing them so much pain and agony. It's almost a level of narcissism that they find ways to make themselves the victims....it's odd.
Societal problem just happened to be at PSU - off campus Frats. I really don't care and have found some of the Memes to be quiet funny. People using this this hate on PSU would be hating on PSU regardless - bring on Marshall! Can't wait for the Temple little brothers game down at the Link on the 12th also - was there last game and the Temple Fans give the Eagles Fans a run for their money - one on the same I guess..
It doesn't affect me personally, thank the Lord. It does affect a university I care about, though. Not sure what you are talking about with victim mentality. I am not blaming anyone except the dumb as a## young men ( they are not kids). As much as you want to minimize it though, PSU has some PR damage control to take care of.
And yep, there are many students there who are doing good things, staying out of trouble, etc. No one said there are not but that is not the focus of the story. There also were many good students doing good things when Sandusky was molesting children in SC.
This will be forgotten in 2 weeks and PSU will be just fine. The people making it about PSU more than anyone else on this site....are the PSU fans and alums.
Yeah...best to keep it quiet and let it slide away rather than letting them hire a PR team to do anything.
Come remind again in 2-3 weeks how much of the news cycle this is taking up.Of course the story will fade away and thankfully the season starts soon. I do wonder if this affects the number of applicants in the coming year. I also wonder if this affects the greek system numbers.
As far as PR, has Penn State put out any public statement about this? I would think they would at least make some boiler plate comment but maybe not.
