A movie people loved that you thought was terrible.

This is sort of interesting in that I've not seen the overwhelming number of these movies, and the ones people dislike that I've seen, I generally disagree with them (eg, Napoleon Dynamite). Given that they are being cited as examples of suckitude, I am interpreting it to mean that I have good judgement in choosing movies to watch.

Oh....it just came to me. I DETESTED the movie Ed Wood.

The entire Jay and Silent Bob universe. I don’t get it. From Clerks to Dogma to whatever else. Not my jam at all.

I’m sure this is going to piss a lot of people off:
Goonies, I never watched the full thing in entirety but I believe I’ve seen all the part of it at one point. Terrible movie.

The Sandlot and another vote for The Goonies
What??!! The Goonies is my favorite movie maybe ever. You both are just flat wrong.

This is the correct answer. No redeeming value. It was just pure unwatchable nonsense.
I saw the first showing when it came to town and at the and of the movie the the entire theatre was stunned silent. It was incredible. Now if I had gone the next day after hearing the ending and whatnot, it would not have been as good. I loved it. Freaked me out, man.

When I first moved to Iowa the kids in my neighborhood loooooooooooved it. So we watched it one day, and I just remember sitting there wondering how anyone could enjoy it. Then I tried it again as a teenager, and had the same thought.

Just not my cup of tea.

A lot of people liked Napoleon Dynamite, but i think it's one of the worst movies ever made.

I could have strapped a gopro to my dog and sent him into the woods and put out the first 1.5 unedited hours of footage and it would have made a better "movie." I didn't know the ending, or anything of the sort, before watching ... it was just a complete mess. I couldn't have cared less what happened to the people, it wasn't the least bit scary ... it was just completely annoying.

I had the same experience. It is still one of my all-time favorite movie-going experiences.
