Attendance this WNBA season:

Games involving Indiana Fever16,084
All games not involving Indiana8,552
Difference7,532 more fans—88% higher

Apparently in many cities the W plays in the same arena as the NBA teams, they just don't sell that many tickets regularly except when Indiana comes to town. There are a few that still play in small arenas and in some cases move the visiting Indiana games to a larger arena so they can sell more tickets.

From the post below this one:

People didn’t reject this. Democrat leaders rejected this and it never was put up for a vote. GOP moderates helped them. Just like today. Not only would our benefits have doubled, our kids would have inherited the left overs.

Rinos gonna find a reason to Rino. Who cares if it hurts US citizens.
So people didn’t reject this, but GOP moderates helped the Democrats. So what you’re saying is Rinos aren’t real people! :ROFLMAO: j/k

On a serious note these actions by the moderates continually working against the best interests of the American people is exactly why real Republicans form a Tea Party that gets taken over and made worthless by the Establishment Republicans, which led to a much stronger response in the form of MAGA. The Rinos are trying their damndest to ride out the wave of Trump. The movement isn’t about Trump. 45/47 is just the current vehicle. The Democrat Party is as anti-American as it gets and falling over the cliff into Red hands. The Rinos like Thune will get eaten by the Left soon enough. Just a bunch of do-nothings with zero forward vision, which circles back to working with Democrats to hurt US citizens. They watched for decades as the university system got captured by the Left and still fund it. We see the fruits of their lack of leadership in students headed off to college who can’t read and write. Pathetic. They don’t even bother stopping fraud when the admin willing to end the fraud is in office.

I think anyone against the WNBA behavior should stop attending these games. If you are mad at their behavior, why help fund it?
This place was packed for Clark/Cunningham. The reason the WNBA had security responsibility is because the venue moved to a place that could hold 17,000+! So…that explains the message from Atlanta absolving themselves from the removal of the mother/daughter. But yes. Keep pushing the idea of Womens National Basketball Association is not about real women, because the current crop of weak leadership cannot properly define what a woman is. And apparently at this game, Atlanta didn’t bother to be on the court for the anthem (a really low task to achieve as an American citizen). The WNBA bite the hands that feed them, but the women want to make as much money as the men. Make it make sense.

The Rinos also vote with Dems to kill voter ID that most US citizens want.

OT-Lakers Drama. I lived in LA for a few years after I graduated from UofI and became a non-rabid Lakers fan. This story is in the news if anyone is interested.

The Lakers were a huge success under owner Jerry Buss who ran it as a family business (1979-2013). He had six children, from 2 wives, and set up a family trust to manage the inheritance. Each child has equal economic benefits but he didn’t want them to contend over running the Lakers, so chose his oldest daughter to be the Laker’s governor - and put language in that required the trust to maintain a very secure position. Note: the NBA requires a person to own/control at least 15% of the team to be governor.

In 2017, Jeanie fired her brother as head of basketball operations, which led to a legal dispute. The result was a court order that confirmed the trust needed to maintain Jeanie as governor and upheld the firing. Two other Buss children still worked for the Lakers.

In 2025, the family sold majority ownership to Mark Walter at a whopping $10 billion valuation but retained 17.8%, allowing Jeanie to remain governor through 2030 (5yrs as governor was a condition of sale). As soon as the sale was complete, Jeanie fired her 2 younger half brothers.

In 2026, the Lakers are being sold again because the majority owner (Mark Walter) is under SEC investigation and needs to sell. There was a clause in the 2025 sales agreement that gave trust members the right to sell their shares to the new buyer if the Lakers were ever sold again.*

So the issue is the original trust and the 2017 court agreement require the trust to maintain Jeanie as governor, which means the family can’t sell shares that would reduce its ownership below 15%. And the 2025 sales agreement “tag along” provision apparently allows them to cash out and sell to a new buyer.

Bottomline: Jeanie fired 3 of her siblings and pissed off the rest so they voted 5-0 to sell the remaining 17.8%, which would effectively fire her from the Lakers. A lot of Laker fans are enjoying the irony. Life gets petty.

_ _ _
* I don't know if a "tag along" provision is standard contract language but no one on earth thought that Mark Walter would be selling within 12 months of closing.

There is a lot more competition out there. Michael Jordan has long been retired and many people are sick of politics in sports, which Nike helped push. Good luck turning that barge around.

This makes no sense. 24,000 in 128,000,000, but in the next batch that is only 25% of what they already counted the number of illegal votes will skyrocket.

Correct. It makes no sense. Because the final batch won’t have some explosion of illegal votes.

That assessment is on track to identify a total of 32K allegedly illegal votes. A whopping 640 per state when you average it out over 50 states.

Voter fraud for Rs and voter ID opposition for Dems are the province of partisans hacks.

Everyone who has rented has an appreciation for the feeling that you are paying and paying for something but not building equity. At least in AZ we have had an explosion of apartments everywhere. Having Mamdani as landlord doesn't make it better but it is one of those political promises the left is going to increasingly use. The real problem is supply and demand and we are now up to 340 million people compared with 280 million in 2000. 60 million more people in 26 years - all from immigration.

Imagine if sleepy Joe had pulled something like this. Tried to imprison someone to hide incompetence. These MAGA retards would’ve blown a gasket.

The criminal charges over the reflecting pool are one of the biggest disgraces involving the federal government in years … and that’s saying something with Trump and Biden in that office the past decade.

This woman’s takes are about as accurate as Stoney and the hyena. She will never apologize nor will she admit she was dead wrong and a complete fool and tool.

Novak remains a hero along with Kyrie. They stood up to tyranny while Icky, Stoney, Jeff and Bronze all submitted as they accepted the lies of Fauci and others as “science”.

The survivors of now 5 “Winters of Death” will always remind them of their failure which will never be acknowledged which means history will repeat itself for the deranged set.

Those that didn’t take the vaccine remind me of women that go to annual trauma therapy conferences. Constantly talk about being survivors and heroes, and most never conquer their issues.

All the people you call out survived those 5 winters too. Yet they don’t walk around calling themselves heroes or survivors.

He’s been going on about the death jab for 5 years. Imagine how long it’s going to take him to emotionally recover from realizing he’s been worshipping a corrupt fraud for a decade.

I don't like it either, but it is not in the same hemisphere as investigating and accusing an elected US president of being a Russian asset. Impeaching him twice for nonsense, then followed by chasing him after his term with criminal and civil law fare while raiding his personal residence.

But that is just me.

You are right, it is just you. Law enforcement, many with a Republican bent, found probable cause at a minimum to believe he violated the law in each action against him. (Hell we saw the pictures and heard the recordings) His open and flagrant corruption and illegal actions during his second term prove that those wanting to prosecute or impeach him were right.

It might be worse. They targeted a regular citizen for a crime they didn’t commit. Bad when politicians go after each other, worse when they start going after people outside of the political spectrum.

What a waste of time and resources.

Pretty hilarious how much some on this board posted about the pool and the “crime”.
