I did the same exact thing with an older Rav4. I had to crawl out the passenger side window to get out. Luckily it was still balancing on the driveway and a 4-foot-deep ditch with the right rear wheel up in the air. As I was turning into my driveway late at night the steering wheel slipped out of my hands and it was too late to recover. So, I walked up to my house, got my truck and a chain and pulled it out level on the pavement. Whew!.... mostly embarrassed and hoped that the neighbors had gone to bed and not witnessed the whole thing.

the dumbass that didn't have the rear wheel drive vehicle in reverse didn't help either.
Thought about that. Now watch those idiots sue the owner. They better hope I'm not on the jury if they do.
If that's not happened to you, you've never really partied.
I'm assuming he's got a good out, as long as the DUI sticks (and assuming it's not something that happens repeatedly), but if I were him I would damn sure consider doing it. It would be a pretty cheap insurance investment.
