....i didnt lose the ability to see through the BS until Moorhead really....i had so much wool on him that there was no way to be wrong.....my prediction of what would happen when Leach left has held up though.....im now officially numb....and throw in there not knowing a damn thing about any of the players bc of the transfer portal, NIL, etc.....the ability for me to get wool for our football program is all but gone, and im not sure it will ever come back...

There is a little hope though that Lebby shocks the world and those three close losses last year flip and we end up 8-4, 9-3 and he wins COY....i gave him a pass in year one, bc there is not a single coach living or dead that could have done better, so to me, this is year 2.
I agree 100% with everything in this statement all the way back to Shitshow Joe.

I feel like it's worth reminding some of you that we have not won an SEC homes game since November 2022.

The guy that's been winless for the last two years is still our head coach, and the guy that went winless the year prior is now our DC.

If not for Arkansas, we wouldn't have SEC wins AT ALL in 3+ years

I hear you, but I can squint and here where Lenny had us close in a lot of games last year. It's PLAUSIBLE I suppose. It's not like we were plumb hapless.

We have the two obvious wins. I see little chance of winning any of the others. I can't see that we significantly upgraded either side of the ball up front, and that's where we had to have it to even tread water with our schedule this year. I seriously hope I'm wrong.
You say we haven’t upgraded either side of the ball. Yet yo dumbass couldn’t name one player we got from the portal on LOS. You made the same stupid azz comment last year and we won 5 and could have won 8. You’re just a 17 troll.

I've looked at them. Their names were unremarkable. We will just have to see. Hopefully you are correct and I'm wrong. What are you basing your optimism on?

I think the DL we got from A&M could be good. Plus we get Whitson back & now Sylla back. I don’t think DL will be as bad as it has been recently. On OL, we lost 3 starters who will start at other P4 schools & replaced then with guys who were not starters at P4 schools.

Offense rests entirely on Taylor having a Heisman-level break out year, it's really that simple. Defense will be serviceable. But offense will have a bad line and a coordinator/QB duo not really meant for each other. So Taylor is going to have to out-athlete it.

In the post you quoted, I said we’d have a bad line you stupid 17. That’s why he’s going to have to essentially be Lamar Jackson or Michael Vick. Which means he just runs like Houdini all the time, since it seems you’re in a slow mood today.

So, and Mr. 77, you please correct where I am going wrong, we have an untested line. We have a young qb, and we have a group of receivers many of whom are untested as well. Is any of that wrong? We have a great group of backs as a bright spot, and a rebuilt defense that, by all measures has to be better. I want to believe Mr. 77, and hope that we will be good. That being said, all of this wool seems to be based on hope.

Go watch some replays from last year and focus on the OL. Then look up the guys that left and see they are doing well even starting at new schools. After that realize that Shades Loadholt is still on staff and coaching the OL. Your wool will fall out faster than unwatered Chia plant leaves
Well we did bring back Chris miller. I don't think that will hurt. Phil might be recruiter. Miller might be teacher

Let’s break this down a little
On the OL. While McVay isn’t a known player he was a ESPN 300 recruit, his PFF grades was one of the highest we brought in. You can say that he didn’t play much at UNC but let’s be honest it’s a **** show in chapel hill and will friend hasn’t developed an OL in years. Battling him is Blake steen. Steen was one of if not the number one portal spring tackle in 2025. He got hurt in late fall and it showed in first game so we shut him down for the year. Guy only gave up one sack at UVA in 2024. DJ Chester was a freshman all SEC at center/ guard in 2024. LSU coaches moved him to tackle last year and he struggled. They moved him back inside some but last year with that whole LSU debacle I don’t hold anything against the kid. Center is Boone and we know what we are getting there. RG is Prudhome who is getting praise pretty much every week. Kid is a freak in the weight room and has been exactly what we had hoped him to be. RT is shumpert, this kid is going to play on the next level if he continues to improve. Might be the best Athlete on the OL. I would say we have more experience on the OL than most think
On the WR. Evans returns. Frisco played well last year. Williams has lit up camp. Johnson has really turned it on don’t forget he played and played a lot at Mizz. Raggins has played at OU and brings a ton of speed.
RB it’s fluff and right now Kolin Wilson. Gayton is playing better than he was but Wilson is just dynamic. So three RBs before the talented freshman
If you’re questioning Taylor ability at QB that’s just on you. Kids a great leader and great passer and needless to say but he is a great runner. His development over the spring and summer has been very impressive.
Moving to defense. I think that it’s easy to forget what we return on defense from last year because it was so bad. Bledsoe has been just a work horse on the DL. Returning him, Reed, Dinkins Diesel and adding Evans gives us a sec DL and depth. Heard good things about freshman Morris as well. Returning Whitson and Sylla (possibly)is a huge upgrade from last year. A Williams the transfer from FSU is a name to remember. I love our LBs. Tillman Fatt Lockhart Rice Gullette. Need some depth to develop I will say that but like our front end guys.
Safety’s we are loaded here especially if manning is cleared. Jones is jones but Jett has been extremely consistent and solid as CB2. Grimsley has been good as well.
Add all this up with better coaching and you can see where we are headed

The Dl with Reed Bledsoe Dinkins Evans and Diesel will be the best DL we have had in years
How do you know? Tell me. Got anything AT ALL to back that up? I read your skreed above. I see your opinions with little to no facts. It basically boils down to we got a bunch of guys that were maybe highly thought of at one point, but it didn't work out for them for whatever reason, BUT they are going to be good HERE. You kept saying things like this the last few years too. Your track record isn't good.

You didn't lay out anything other than this guy's good, this guy's good, this guy's good. Yeah, they didn't play well last year (or much at all) but it's the coach's fault. The fact is we've lost 3 starters who are at least projected to be starters at other P4 schools (2 better than us, 1 worse), and replaced them with players who weren't starters in P4 last year. I sure hope like hell you're right and they're all just underrated, under the radar players who we just did a masterful job of identifying. But past history tells me that's probably not super likely.

1-2 a little too early to completely give up on him, as long as the losses are competitive. But he'll have virtually zero room for any more losses in winnable games.

So, what I got out of that was a bunch of guys we hope will work out. Is that unfair to say? I hope they all do work out, but how can you actually know that they will? Answer being that none of us know what will happen, but thank you for the run down. Again most of what your saying seems to be based on hope that most of these guys will live up to potential. Also, I think you are confusing hope with facts for the o line guys. I mean none of us have actually seen them play much, and as mentioned by others if they were road graders where they were, then would still be there. Just one Devils opinion.

I’m basing it on information that one I have seen two based on what I have been told from those who have already been at practices this year. Add in I’ll be in Starkville this weekend as well so i will know more for sure.
To you and others that act like having as you say “hope” is a bad thing is kinda of a sad way to describe things. We all have hope, i simply posted that we have a lot more talent than we have had in years, and im not the only one saying it. I pointed out that we actually have players who have started and competed in the P4 level and competed in the SEC but now for some reason that’s not good enough. I’m not here to say we are about to make the playoffs but we damn sure are gonna be better than we have been. So if that’s a bad thing then it must suck to be you all

Hey dumbass I said we would win 5 to 6 games last year, we won 5 we had chances in three more. You predicted we would be 2-10 last year just like you have this year. I said we would have close to if not over 30MM in NIl for this team long before others reported on it. I said we would increase the staff and make additions. We did. You… you could name a single player or coach we hired this offseason.
