We are not ranked either and its just a pre season poll but my Clemson co workers are even more upset today with the recent directon of the program under Blabo which brings a smile to my face, .

Most polls prior to October are generally stupid other than ranking the likes of Ohio St and UGA near the top because they are a given. Wasn't it just last season that some voter moved Florida up after a loss in week 2 or 3? Whenever it was I recall a social media post of her trying to explain it as it she knew what she was doing. Most of these voters ain't got a clue.

Yes. I used to enjoy anything that could irritate the Clemson fanbase but really, it's completely inconsequential. So what if they are irritated in mid August? I think it would be great if they went 11-1 every year, and stating the obvious here, provided SC is responsible for that lone 1. Because if that is happening that means the football program is improving and maintaining such a course. Spurrier was right when he said the bigger concern should be competing for the SEC and not beating Clemson. When they had teams that were of that caliber, they beat Clemson. Now we're back to occasionally beating Clemson and hoping for a bowl.
