He would have gone up against Jethro Pugh in practice. Man there were some legends in that Dallas locker room.

I met Bob Lilly at a car show several years ago, he noticed my Hawkeye shirt and started talking about John Niland, and mentioned that he (Bob) loved Iowa fans. RIP John

That was a good offensive team with Larry lawrence,Eddie and noonan.

Off a little, Noonan and Niland finished in the mid 60's. Podolak and Lawrence's big year was 1968 when Eddie was a running back.
