Coming to an offensive back field near you all year long
These Cleveland county teams defenses are legit, ALL four of them.....

This a really good possibility for sure, it will come down to QB position for all 4 schools for sure.
You know I joke a lot, but I really believe this. Barring no injuries etc we all should make a deep run
All four defenses are going to be scary and once the QB (well 3 of us) gets sorted its going to be hard to handle for some teams

I am a little late to the pre-game
talking party. I was a little consumed with my son and his MMA debut this weekend. It would take a lot to bring me down after what he did Saturday. 
As far as Burns, I would not say we have a QB issue. It is more of a decision. Case Bralley has done very well throwing the ball in the Jamboree and Scrimmage. I can count on one hand how many passes were incomplete. Romelo presents a problem with his legs and has more experience. Ultimately, Devine will put what he feels is the best chance for us to compete. Both have great qualities.
In my opinion the game comes down to Burns secondary and Crest front 7. Burns will have to stop the big plays and contain the Crest passing. Crest will have to stop Max Davis to force us to throw it. They may not have to force us with Surratt and Ussery out there. We might be more than willing. There will be a ton of talent on the field for sure. This will be a chess match. I expect a much better game than last year.
The heat will play a factor too. If Burns can drive the ball and eat up the clock that could help keep the Crest D out there. Hard to tell what will happen but in CC you just never know. If Burns can get Bralley to a point where we can use Romelo Wells out in space, that could be a huge problem for others come playoff time.
Let me say this right now....and none of you Burns people care, I know. Out of all 4 of you skuzz bucket CC programs... I pull for Burns amongst you first for many reasons. But, you are taking crazy pills (again) if you think Burns will be within 13 points of the winning score. We will see about KM. They are supposed to be great for the 47th straight year according to their backers. We will see. I will go ahead and give them their excuse right now for this year.....because I know it'll be hard to come up with that 47th one and it still be somewhat believable. So here you go:

I suppose Burns and KM muscled that scrimmage cancellation this past Friday, too? Didn't want to show they are missing a few cards before the season started? Lots of talk as usual. Shelby and Crest western final potential? Sure. I will play the part of the understanding but realistic dad. Burns and KM... you just ain't as pretty as the other two sisters... but you got a good head on your shoulders and your pigtails are curly... now study hard, you can be anything you want to be.
I really wish the games with Crest and Kings Mtn were farther into the season... I don't think we ever get a true test where we stack up with them due to all the extra variables that get thrown in the mix - the beginning of the season personnel issues and the heat and humidity to name the primary two.....I am a little late to the pre-game

Crest has 57 on roster, Burns has 32, so depth will play a role. That being said it's both teams 1st game and same temperature.
I'm just saying none of the teams are at their best for those games.
I'm really excited for Case's time to come. Whether that's this year or next he's gonna be another Ben Mauney type I think. I'm sure he'll get plenty of reps against some of our conference teams.I am a little late to the pre-game

That’s exactly what I was saying and he just proved it. Not one score shown on WH as I’ve said from the beginning. I felt like they held their own and they did.
Now that is what I am talking about, some bold predictions. As George Clooney said in the movie “From Dust Till Dawn” Now that’s a (bleeping) show!!!
Side note that is the only good scene in that movie.

I predict that there will be a running clock in the Hickory/South Point matchup. The Big Red Machine gonna have bright red bottoms to match.

Burns will be tough always are , Davis is a freaking stud , let’s line em up and see. This is my thought , Burns will not drive 80yds and score on this Crest defense. Hope all the Burns kids stay on the team this week …

We actually gained our middle school RB back. Enrolled and at Burns on day 1. I am sure the narrative will be that he wouldn't have been good for you right? Why did he come back so quick? Nobody leaves Crest for Burns. lol
And good lord, space out your post some. You posted what we can't do on that defense and how we are going to win by 14 within two min. It's almost as if someone is texting you to tell you what to post.
The majority of fans online have already given Crest the victory and you know it. How dare a Burns fans come on there with confidence. Good to see you posting again. It got awfully quiet after the jamboree. I guess beating MVP scoring and not scoring and scoring and not scoring on West Henderson lit that fire under your fingers.
He left because they wouldn't move him to varsity and didn't play him in the scrimmage because of the 2 studs in front of him so he got pissed off. He then went back to Burns and was told he couldn't play this year. Why did he leave Burns to begin with? I'd say from all that he believes it's easier to get on the field there. He knew he wouldn't start over Max or Mari coming back. One would think he was told he would be on Varsity if he made the move only to be told otherwise when he got there. If it was easy to get on the field he would have stayed from the get go. Always wanted to play where his dad did and wear the number. That changed real quick for sure. I thought he would have been on JV or 8 quartered at Burns regardless.
