SOMEBODY has to be the first in the modern era. Might as well be Trump.

My previous bet was (and still is) that Putin would be the one.

Trailing Putin, I think the India-Pakistan might be the conflict that gives us the first modern use.

While Trump wouldn't be bothered by using nukes, I fail to see why their use would be considered in the current Iran conflict. What unique benefit would nukes provide that we can't achieve with conventional weapons?

We still aren't clear whether the previous 2 rounds of heavy bombing actually incapacitated Iran's nuclear programs. Is there some reason to believe using nukes would absolutely wipe it out?

They probably believe a nuking them would lead to surrender.

Y'all are desperate.
I wasn't on the Rivals board, but did Scrubby used to post MGT tweets like they were gospel before she had her falling out with Trump?

I don't believe this.

While it tickles me that MTG (along with Tucker Carlsen) is so anti Trump now, make no mistake, she is still BATSHIT crazy. Remember this is the "Jewish Space Lazers" lady, and the person that told us that the US can control where Hurricanes can go. So we are going to nuke someone? Maybe so, but I'm not holding my breath on what MTG says.

Low emission, precision nukes could be used on Iran nuclear sites. May be a good idea for ending their nuke program.
If we open Pandora box does this give NK tacit approval to go after military sights in SK? What about China and Taiwan? Russia and Ukraine.

Do you really want that genie out of the bottle? Seems like a massive mistake when we can use bunker busters against nuke sites…they were confirmed to work in 2025.

Having said that, my point on war crimes is obviously if he uses them against civilian population.

Fair, but I don't think our tacit approval applies to NK and others.

Correct about civilians. In fact, we should tell them to get everybody away from pickaxe mountain and the other sites within 24 hours before we render those sites unusable.

I think there is zero chance this was or is being considered for civilian areas. If that is what mtg or some other hack said, it is absurd.

Some might argue the genie is already out of the bottle.

We used nukes twice in WWII. That being how many we had, iirc.

Then the world went nuts building nukes. I believe I heard that at the peak there were 70K nukes in the world.

Then we had a bunch of treaties and agreements to reduce stocks, not to proliferate, and to restrict classes of delivery vehicles.

Then we let a lot of those restrictions expire.

There's talk of a bunch of nations thinking about joining the nuclear club. Some friends. Some not. Which of them will we bomb to prevent them having nukes? Which of them will other nations bomb to prevent them having nukes?

If it's OK for us (and nuclear power Israel) to bomb Iran to keep it from getting nukes, is it OK for N.Korea to bomb S.Korea or Japan to keep them from getting nukes? Is it OK for Russia to bomb Scandinavian nations to keep them from getting nukes?

We looked the other way (and maybe helped) Pakistan get nukes. Will we look the other way if big Muslim nations like Turkey or Indonesia want nukes?

Trump wants to take Cuba. Clearly Cuba needs nukes.
