Sheesh. What a beautiful young woman. 36 years old. Hollywood sucks.

Saw her when they were filming Nashville the TV Series in my suburb of Nashville. She was short but very pretty. Connie Britton the other star of the show was pretty tall so it made Hayden look even shorter. Hollywood acting as a child, followed by years of substance of abuse....so prevalent.

Hopefully every cent goes to her daughter and is protected until she's old enough
I don't know much about her upbringing, but it seems her mother was a driving force in her career as a child actor. I hope she gets NONE of it.

If she'd have raised a stock broker or an RN, she'd still have a daughter. She wouldn't have a glitzy lifestyle, but she'd have a daughter.

Awful news. Suspect there is foul play here given the issues with her abusive boyfriend and the fact that she just released a pretty incendiary autobiography (that tells a very familiar story about her as a 17 year old trapped on a yacht with a 'powerful man' she was expected to service sexually) and has seemed very 'put together' while promoting it. RIP.

She spoke a lot about depression, post-partum and addiction. Could be anything. But, sadly, most likely it wasn't foul play. I believe initial reports indicated there wasn't. Not saying they're correct

Regardless horrible tragedy...feel so bad for her daughter

It’s not just Hollywood. You only hear about those
You're right, but there are some "cultures" that do this country more harm than good. I would count "Pop Culture" as one of them. I mean the movies aren't even any good anymore. Or the music. None of it is worth this.

Like the cultures in these areas? Better carry your Narcan if you are in WV.

If I remember correctly... thought I saw an interview where she was pretty open about her addiciton. I give her a lot of credit knowing it was going to be a real struggle and why she wanted her child to grow up with her father. In addition she said doing interviews when she was about 15 years old people fed her opoids to make her "happy and high energy" during interviews is where her addiction started.

I know you have no choice but to live in Nashville - we can't help that. But your post made me remember a live duet with Tanya Tucker and Leann Rimes singing Love Me Like You Used To. They both gushed over each other (as they should), and I realized they both had hit songs at age 13. Tanya with Delta Dawn and Leann with Blue.

Did their careers turn out perfect? Far from it. Tanya was a tornado who wouldn't listen to anyone, and Leann has much more talent than Taylor Swift, yet never capitalized on it.

You know what though - they're both alive. They came out the other end. Some do make it.

You should drown your sorrows about Hayden Panettiere's substance abuse by having a few beers at the course, then stopping by the bar to down a few more ... and then going home to your always on tap keg and having a few more.
