I'm not one of the homophobes but it was a mixed back when my cousin got married to another woman. There were people who were all the way cool with it, people who weren't cool with it, and people who wanted to go to the wedding but had their homophobic grandparents (my aunt and uncle) intervene to stop them from going. Then his therapist convinced him that he must be gay. He found another man and they moved in together. It wasn't my thing but I was happy that he found somebody to share his life.

I also have a niece who married another woman who was transitioning to a man. I couldn't wrap my head around it. I understand that a woman might be attracted to another woman but why a woman who wants to be a man? Why not stick with men? We went to the wedding and it was offensive to me. I would have been OK with a ceremony that celebrated two people in love but this was over the top. Everything was about praising ***** ideology. The reception was outdoors and it looked like a pride parade. They had a barbeque that they called a barbequeer. They had photographers putting feather boas around guests to take their pictures. Everything was "in your face". We went because it was my wife's niece but it was quite uncomfortable. FWIW the newlyweds got divorced in just over a year. Our niece is reasonably attractive but she shaved her head and got lots of tattoos and piercings. She wound up being the one to file for divorce because her tranny partner went too far.
