Fumbles? Interceptions? Missed tackles? Missed blocks? NOT
Watching ANY kind of practice is like watching black paint dry sitting in a dark closet with no lights. Shirley you don't expect positive reports from the first scrimmage? Practice is what it is, a boring necessity but not one fans thankfully are expected to participate in. Listen to the coach speak if you must but that's almost as boring as watching the paint dryFumbles? Interceptions? Missed tackles? Missed blocks? NOTHING?
Snakes or nah?All the helmets fit except for a couple but got that handled.
What do any coach’s comments after a scrimmage even mean? You could mostly copy & paste them between any team, any coach & any year. This should invoke confidence:

Mississippi State HC Jeff Lebby post-scrimmage Q&A
Mississippi State head coach Jeff Lebby spoke to local media after the first fall camp scrimmage on Sunday.www.on3.com
WT17 did any of those answers mean?
is gonna be out for the season of torn mussels. My take aways: Jaden Rashada a former high four-star is the fourth string QB, behind a walk-on from Prep. Also a dude who wasn't going to play much this season got hurt again and will miss another season due to injury.
Meh. Nothing he says or doesn’t say in preseason will mean anything. His interview is no different than any other coach. Dont read anything good or bad into it.I like Lebby just fine and I like his offense. However, he's on a presumably short leash and is paid a lot of money. He has tons of assistants now to help him. If he doesn't win, he's in trouble. A good PR campaign from him would go a long ways and the after practice report is a good place to start. How about a little less "strain", "violence" and "intensity" and something like, "#1 has put on good weight since last season and is going to be tough to bring down", or "we only dropped 2 balls all practice today, which is as good as I've seen". "it's only practice, but I did enjoy watching us score from deep today. The corners were in position, but speed and precise ball placement made me smile". "We are gelling faster on defense than I expected, and that's part coaching, part effort and part scheme." Dang I get tired of hoping to hear something and leave with not one dang thing.
Lebby is the lowest paid coach in the SEC…. You get what you pay forI like Lebby just fine and I like his offense. However, he's on a presumably short leash and is paid a lot of money. Rosebowl say, he thinks Rashada is the backup ahead of Swann. Not that I care either way, but it's showing that the hype machine is not always consistent. My take aways: Jaden Rashada a former high four-star is the fourth string QB, behind a walk-on from Prep. Grammar Nazi! You big meanie! I’m totally kidding, lol. My grandparents raised me from the age of 9, and my grandmother taught English for 30 years, so I really only have one excuse: I forgot half of it, as the brain tends to do. Well, maybe I have one more excuse—sometimes I’m on here after I’ve had a few drinks at night. How was that?I took away from this thread that we need more spellcheck, paragraphs, commas, and periods in our lives.
That’s exactly what i thought and wanted to say as well. It was pretty evident each time he would start speaking. It’s pretty clearly a poor AI transcript.
I guess I got my money’s worth out of that one.
All the aboveFumbles? Interceptions? Missed tackles? Missed blocks? NOTHING?
Okay, but when do we get to see the stuff we did pay for?Lebby is the lowest paid coach in the SEC…. You get what you pay for
Well he is wrong. Rashada is running 4th team quarterbackRosebowl say, he thinks Rashada is the backup ahead of Swann. Not that I care either way, but it's showing that the hype machine is not always consistent.
Fun Fact: Rashada was the #6 overall QB in the 2023 class and ranked 97. Taylor was #8 and ranked 95. Why aren't we all jazzed up about Rashada??? I mean if we're going based on potential alone.

Well I did notice that you posted at 2:49 am. I figured it was either alcohol-fueled or post-coitous brain fog, so either way - congrats on a fun nightGrammar Nazi! You big meanie!
