Entergy Bill - did anyone's electric bill jump a lot this month?

I know it's been hot but my bill is ridiculously high this month. Reading was from 6/25 to 7/28.

Mine was the most ever. But I checked my report from my Ecobee on my A/C and one of my units has been running 16 hours a day! Guess I’ll get to drop $8k or so.

Why does energy not use more nuclear power coming from Port Gibson instead of going so much heavier on gas?

I don’t know. These ac units are only designed to cool by about 20 degrees. Mine is only 3 years old and it runs mostly non stop noon to 6pm, then a good bit in evening & night. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m not running at least 12 hours per day. And my house gets a lot of shade.

I think mine was around 140. Up a little but July and August typically are. If yall would spend more time out in the heat you wouldn't have to keep the house 70°. Or put your wives outside for a few hours.

I’m in the heat all day often in attics and my air is out in my work truck. That thermostat ain’t cracked from 70.

If this is true those who care should find a way to get this clear in the public eye. Amazon will cave if it looks like they’ll take serious reputation damage.
