Tough road game vs. ATL. F Briona Jones injured helps. Get Reese in foul trouble and I think the Fever have a decent chance of winning……

Boston staying out of foul trouble might be the bigger issue. If Aliyah stays out of foul trouble I like the Fever's chances as she's a bad matchup for Angel. If she doesn't I think Atlanta probably wins because Angel is a bad matchup for the rest of the Fever's bigs.

Naz Hillmon averaged 18/5 vs. the Fever in the mid June back-to-back. I expect her to be a key for Atlanta today also.

I'm going to nominate Rhyne Howard as a good player to foul out. She can get plenty of threes off, make a good clip, plus she's a pain in the *** defender. Long arms and tends to get away with a lot of grabbing, pushing, etc.

Hoping they moved the game today, more Fever fans :D.

The defense will need to be a lot better today. The Dream scored 221 points in the back-to-back in June. All of their starters scored doubled-digits in both games.
That's the reason I posted that Fever are the 4th worst team in the league giving up 90.3 pts/game.

That's because the rest of our bigs play like most other forwards in the WNBA and go straight up, stiff as a board in post defense and allow Reese to flail around and remain the aggressor after every shot attempt, including all her misses.

They contest her shots which is great and all, but like most women/girls, simply can't then transition to box out, especially against someone as hyper active as Reese.

If they really truly wanted to keep her off the boards, they'd have to collapse and work in tandem. One contests the shot, another slides in and boxes her out after the shot and let her aggressiveness backfire with contact over the back if officials feel inclined to call her for it.....................🫠

Do what some posters do and go through the game thread after the fact and call people out for how they were feeling in the moment.
To be fair the minute they’re down in a game 4-2 25% of the board is screaming that White can’t coach and look how ****** their defense is. And then the first time CC goes out for a rest they also go berserk. It’s every game. I love it.

I think that’s the point. Harris had been in the league for a decade when the season started. If her experience is the difference, it would have made the difference to start the season as well.
Raven was given plenty of chances earlier when CC was hurt. At some point in her career she might become a player but at this point she doesn’t do anything particularly well. And your 1st round pick should be getting more playing time as the season goes on not less.

Thank God she’s tall with freakishly long arms. Without that she’s working at a Popeye’s
