Starmount gets the WAny thoughts on the great matchup between two traditional powerhouses?
I agree you cannot underestimate MA by any stretch and I know for a fact SM wont. Its week 1 crazy things can happen but I just will be highly surprised if SM doesn’t win this matchup this year.Don't underestimate MA. I'm sure they will have athletes and good defense.
Yeah the lack of communication from Mayberry this pre season has been rather unusual for sure! Maybe Otis got really tore up on the white lighting and let the loaded goat out and blew up Andy & Barney….. LOLMount Airy lost some incredible players last year. Surprisingly quiet from the folks in Mayberry. I don’t know what to expect.
Good to hear from you BuzzMA had too many transfer out and the Floyd kid that's good RB went to North Surry. MA will be good up front but will just not have the studs of years past. I could see MA 5-5 on the season with a tough schedule. The QB from last year was hurt in car wreck during basketball and cant play.
Yes that is my understanding alsoI hear that MT Airy QB from a year ago transfered to East Forysth in the Spring and now he is at West Charlotte.
I think someone posted earlier that they were different circumstances. West Stokes got a linebacker from MAI know schools always have transfers, but I feel like MA normally is the benefit of them. Something going on up there or just a coincidence?
Ohhh. Thanks for the info. The Starmount-Mount Airy JV has been moved to Sept 10th because of Mount Airy is setting up their new pressbox.
I have to behave coaching football at nearby school. We're in desperate need of a good TD and Buzz argument. Somebody round them up please. Got to start the season off right. It's now a tradition lol
