I agree you cannot underestimate MA by any stretch and I know for a fact SM wont. Its week 1 crazy things can happen but I just will be highly surprised if SM doesn’t win this matchup this year.

I'm not sure what to think about this game. I would think Starmount should win. I didn't think Starmount looked as good as they should've against Hibriten. Lots of dropped passes. I thought they showed glimpses of what they can do in this past Fridays scrimmage. I understand both were scrimmages though.

Mt Airy usually has a few transfers so there's no telling what they have. Should be a good physical game.

Yeah the lack of communication from Mayberry this pre season has been rather unusual for sure! Maybe Otis got really tore up on the white lighting and let the loaded goat out and blew up Andy & Barney….. LOL

MA had too many transfer out and the Floyd kid that's good RB went to North Surry. MA will be good up front but will just not have the studs of years past. I could see MA 5-5 on the season with a tough schedule. The QB from last year was hurt in car wreck during basketball and cant play.

I think someone posted earlier that they were different circumstances. West Stokes got a linebacker from MA
