It didn't take Seattle long to get rid of the nice, real grass for the World Cup and go back to streaky plastic "grass".

Plus, on the pregame - who was the Burt Reynolds lookalike? I had to do a double take at first.

I expect players association to push for real grass in the next round of negotiations. A lot of players were saying hey if you can put down real grass for them what about us?

And they would absolutely be correct. If teams/cities can afford around $5B for a new stadium, they should be able to afford a couple million for real grass and enhanced safety.

Not sure some of these Domes play well with that.
They'll have to design them for rollout fields like the Cardinals have. Or grow-lights, like the domed stadiums did for soccer. However, real grass can become a quagmire late in the season. Remember the Arkansas game, I think in 2000 that kept us out of Atlanta (as I recall)?

Looks like the storied Dallas defense has returned, but I suppose it's just preseason.

Modern grass fields are much improved over 30 years ago. They can drain incredibly fast.

He hasn't played in preseason in several years. Cowboys rarely play anyone of significance (OL starters occasionally) in preseason
Yep, they announced no starters will play pre-season this year except maybe a few rookies/position battle players that are expected to start or play significant minutes.

They are playing starters in 2 controlled scrimmages with Rams(already happened) and Saints....this week I think. Backup running back, QB and last receiver competition will be interesting. They still need a consistent pass rush. Wheat is still around and has flashed from time to time but will probably land on practice squad. He's good depth and plays hard.

I don't think Dak’s taken a preseason snap since 2019.

Solid joke but odd flex.

I mean Panthers have zero SB wins and historic winning percentage over the last 10 years, 20 or whenever they became a nfl team is a joke. In contrast Dallas has 5 SBs and has virtually stayed top 10% winning percentage even during the 30 years of playoff futility.

If you ever tire of MSU sports, head to Oxford because they too talk of bowl wins from 30+ years ago and winning % of decades ago when in fact they really didn't do much of anything those years winning percentage years. Substitute "Rebels" for Dallas and there's no difference if the fan bases.***

I get the punchline.....I'm a tortured pissed off cowboys fan from way back. It's playoff futility that's killing us not winning % from decades ago. Dallas wins they just choke in the playoffs.....fact. Unfortunately, our boy has been part of the choking but I still believe in him.
