Colandrea will be a deciding factor IF our defense is even modestly improved. Gonna be fun to watch IMO.

Id add the OL to that as well. I'm actually not as worried about RB as much as most are. I'm not sure we have an Emmett BUT I think we could be deeper with quality guys.

Not gonna lie I'm more interested in the other guys on the DL.

The kid from Pitt, kid from the Dakota , Sua, and the older UCLA kid is who I wanna see, also Terry. I admit I'm still holding out hope from the Mizzu kid.

I think I know what Cam is. RVP looks like Tarzan....,😂, Stoutemire a fire hydrant who doesn't excite me.Number 95 looks like Tarzan....😂

I'm torn on Berrymon but either way hes not in good enough shape to do more than 10 plays or so right now.

Yeah I forgot about Pietrzak when I posted that. He’s a stud. As whole that group was just so disappointing last year. Hopefully most of that was Butler.

5-7.

D-Line greatly concerns me.
RB room probably wouldn't scare Millard South.
Colanderea will be fun to watch but will probably have at least 10 turnovers.
3 of their 4 November games on the road.
Pass defense probably takes a step back, maybe even two with this D-Line.

Defense as a whole will be better. Run game should be better with a better O line. Talent wise, this is Ruhle's best team. There is more depth, we just need the QB to play well. If we start 5-0 there will be a focus on not imploding like the last two years. I would imagine the D line will look better with a four man front vs trying to run a 3 man front with all undersized players. If this team can not win 8 this year, even with the tough schedule, then it will never happen on Ruhle's watch. That may mean knocking off a top 25 team, and it is high time Matt did that here. From what I have been told, the players on defense love the new DC and the mojo is much better among those guys. A focus on generating turnovers has been intense. My worries are the Special teams units, and Dana being willing to run the ball in league play and when we have a lead.

Our biggest weakness is on the sideline

Half our games are over before we even get off the bus

Yep. And I would add "before we come out of the locker room at halftime." We are -74 points in the second half with Rhule.

Tom would wear teams down and look for the nuances or areas to take advantage of later in the game. We are now the ones getting picked on later in the game... or actually just self imploding. The hype and rah rah wears off later in the game - strategy and execution matter.
