Where on earth do you come up with this nonsense? The NFL is at an all time high. Funny you don’t mention Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford. Joe Burrow is elite when he’s healthy (injuries happen, nothing new in football). Then go down a tier, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, etc, etc. I’d argue the QB position has never been as talented as it is right now.

Indiana Miami championship game was lowest quality in past 40 years?? Based on what? There’s been plenty of clunkers over the years, but last year’s championship wasn’t one of them.

It’s amazing how off you are in all of these threads.
Mahomes is a mid level qb now, Stafford is 40, Allen hasn't won anything. Jackson and Prescott haven't won anything. But most of the those guys are getting older...I'm talking about the newer generations of qbs who have been under the influence of the transfer portal and NIL. If you can't see that college football is falling apart then you are blind, and if college football is falling apart, eventually the nFL will follow.

“You are blind” - look in the mirror, man.

Virtually every game is on tv or streamed.
So building a sport by having half empty stadiums is a healthy long-term model? Lol. As usual you guys live in the past and fail to realize that a majority of the donors and best fans will be dead in 20 years...not only is the new generation not going to have the excess wealth to spend on donating but the youth just don't care. College football has a short window to get its crap together to put forth a product that young people can get behind or it is doomed...it is expected that there would be a final hurrah as the boomers age out with too much disposable income and a memory of how much football gave to them, but donating to dead happens overnight.

What a sad state that getting 8 wins...Ohio, BG, North Dakota, Mich state, Maryland, Rutgers, Wash, Ill is viewed as a successful season in year 4 for a guy slated to make 100 million...keep in mind getting 8 wins is less than a 10% probability.
A sad state is not seeing what he did in year 1-3 compared to his predecessor and being the guy who constantly wants to ***** about what a guy makes who doesn’t contribute a dollar to that guys salary. You as a fan don’t have a “right” to a football teams success. What you have a “right” to is hope or non hope. You can choose your poison but please stop sharing the poison.

Yea that prediction was made two generations ago and here we are living in a college football generation at its highest peak ever. Have you even been to a Nebraska football game in the past 5 years and seen the younger generations attending? I have to find 4 more tickets for South Dakota state game that they age 5, 28, 31 and 32.
