EL fans are blaming the QB. Maybe he isn’t that good. He was under tremendous pressure last night. Messiah Thompson batted down 4 balls on Dollar. The only catch Dollar had….. Messiah Thompson punched it out to force a fumble.
Messiah also jumped chain route on dollar and pick it off for a TD.
I’d say the OL is a concern. Lincolnton stuffed every run accept 1 run. That went maybe 10 yards.
QB scrambled for 1st down 1 time. Outside of that…. The run game looked bad.
The report back from our kids that went was that Messiah did a phenomenal job last night.

Burns/Crest week. These are usually really good games, last year being an exception. Crest should be considered the favorite and they absolutely deserve that but if Burns can get some pressure on that young QB for Crest and eat up some clock offensively you never know. Just hope the heat and storms stay away and we can have a fantastic Week 1 game!

And we all know Max will get his touches. That's why I say we gotta control the clock. Burns will be tough to run on defensively, so if we can get pressure on Bell we have a shot. Just my opinion, this week matters but it really doesn't (goes for next week too at KM). Just need to get experience and get through it healthy. We need to be playing at our peak starting Week 4. (Sorry not counting East Gaston Week 3)
