I hope you guys are just trying to get some on here to underestimate us i expect fall off but 4 and 6 seems bit much

I believe the young transferred to East Forsyth, not Grimsley. I have also heard that the State Championship QB from Reidsville transferred to East Forsyth as did a starting QB from Charlotte.

I truly wish that some of us were "just down playing expectations" for the coming year, but I assure you that is not the case.
Unless the transfer portal has reversed and so really good players are coming in (have not heard of any) to replace the out going ones that went to North and East Surry as well as West Stokes.

Again, my understanding, which may not be correct, is the transfer outs are not related to football but other sports or reasons.

But I have not doubt that Mt Airy will suit up and show up for each game.

It's going to be QB battle for sure at East Forsyth. The QB from Reidsville is pretty good but he was getting less playing time towards end of last season. The EF jv quarterback is pretty good he may be the starter. East has about 70 players you better be good to see the field.

I may not be doing much on here this year. Things may change, though. I have a lot going on and will know before the season starts. Kinda got burnout from doing a lot last year for On3 looking up scores from all over the state, Some may not have noticed or remembered. but I helped Deana and had most done before she got home from the game. Like I said I will know what I am going to do by the first game, If I do anything it will be the On3 scoring. But once a Bear Fan Always A Bear Fan ! 🐻🏈

Everyone enjoy your season because as always it is here and gone before you know it.

The MA QB transferred to West Charlotte. Not sure if he ever attended East Forsyth. Did anyone attend scrimmages this past Friday. It has been quiet. West Stokes scrimmaged North Wilkes this past Friday and they have St Stephens this week in Hickory. MA plays St Stephens again this year.

May not be gospel, but I saw where Mt Airy Transfer to EF and then to West Charlotte was in top two for starting QB at West Charlotte.
Have since heard via grapevine that he has secured the starting position. With 3 college level wide receivers and this young man's ability to throw the ball accurately long and hard, it appears his father made a very good decision for him.

Yes he will get more exposure in Charlotte and playing on a team with talent.
