First of all, what major candidate has advocated for wide open borders and release of all prisoners? Second, why would you ask me? I was a Republican all my life until this country put the biggest liar and grifter in the history of our country in charge. I’m embarrassed for the Republican Party and not sure I can ever support a candidate that admires Trump. I didn’t change. MAGA has taken over mainstream Republicanism. Fiscal Responsibility, staying out of foreign wars, low gas prices? Out the window so the country take take a ride on Trump’s revenge/get rich tour. I love America and this pettiness is disgusting from a President. The reflecting pool? He would rather try to pin it on an American Olympian than admit his no bid buddy contractor messed it up. No, I’m not a Democrat or lib or socialist. I’m an American disgusted with circus in our white house

Voter ID for in person voting is probably not that big of a concern. It’s the ballot harvesting and trading cigarettes or cash for votes from homeless, invalids and other poors that is a big, big problem.

I am fairly lib...Biden may not have agreed with "open borders" but that is what happened and the optics were horrible. Dems will always struggle with being known as the party of chaos in the name of empathy and weakness. The Afghanistan chaos, high crime rates following covid, the borders being crossed by 10 million people, Ukraine being attacked by Russia, Israel being attacked by Hamas. Maga doesn't have to answer with empathy, they don't have to be compassionate conservatives because that isn't their platform, and the compassionate christian base is gone. Dems need to stop worrying about what Trump is allowed to get away with and understand what people expect of them...if you are going to empathetic, tolerant you have to be organized, strong, ambitious...you can't just use virtual signaling to get votes. To be "good", to care about people, to make America stronger while making it safer, healthier, smarter will take a team of geniuses. Instead we continue to just elect people who say things people want to hear.
