You know, after thinking about it, the OP has a great point. At many games from other teams, they sing "their" song after the game. The team locks arms and they all serenade the song with the fans. I think it would be a good change.

Watching us play W.V. in the college baseball playoffs, I would have thought a team of players hooking arms and singing Take Me Home Country Road would be the hokieest thing ever but it was really pretty cool.

West Virginia adopted "Take Me Home Country Roads" as their state song in 2014 to go along with 3 other state songs. Kentucky should do the same and give our current racist state song a much needed vacation

I’ve been to dozens of games at Rupp over the years, and can never recall them doing that except on senior night, when it absolutely should be played (and sung) before the game. All other games it should only be played after. It’s a wonderful tune to play as folks are heading home for the night, win or lose. Many fond memories walking out of Rupp into the chilly fall/winter air, and sometimes falling snow, to that song.

That you don't know that it's played before games means your vote is worthless. Stick to your (narrow) lane.

Tradition is the glue that holds societies, cultures, and civilizations together. Without it, there’s no constant that ties together a people or generations. Give up your traditions and you become something different. We’re seeing that in a catastrophic and rapid way in the west now. It’s not a good thing. Change is adaptation =/= tradition is bad.

yankees from eastern seaboard have bent UK since the 60,s. Why? Cheaper to pay out of state. Tuition at their schools are out of reach for most kids. Not a new thing my friend.
