Batavia vs. Maine South

Pretty exciting match up Week 1. I haven't seen much chatter about this game. 2 very good programs that have never faced before.

Batavia has a lot of fire power returning on offense and a solid group of seniors returning on defense.

Not sure how much Maine South returns. I know they have a few Division 1 recruits on their roster.

Could be a shoot out week 1!

They both have an offense, do they have a defense? I think I read MS only has 1 back on defense. What about Batavia? They used to be LB High for a few seasons

Indiana recruit Jameson Purcell, 20th in the national rankings for quarterbacks, has led the Hawks to the quarterfinals two years in a row. This year, he should benefit from Maine South's fairly easy schedule. The Bulldog's Vander Luitgaren isn't ranked nearly as high, but Massey likes Batavia 30-28.

Might be a little off here but aren't Maine South players allowed to live anywhere in district 207? So let's say I live 200 yards from Maine West, I could still goto Maine South because I live in district 207?

And Lena is favored. LeWin was supposed to play Wilmington, but that went out the window with the new playoff format.
